Such a great place to stay very nice people wonderful room excellent breakfast right in the center of everything but also off a little quiet street. I truly appreciate the hospitality and their kindness. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice.

Lovely Hotel

We received a very warm and helpful greeting from David. He made good suggestions for restaurants and things to do. He also provided us with a map. The breakfast was excellent and we were helped very well by Lila.

Very nice hotel, lovely interior decor and location is perfect for gondolas, river taxis and the Grand Canal However, the hotel gets marked down as they attempted to charge us 40 euros for checking in ‘late’ ie after 9.30 even though this wasn’t stated in the terms and conditions on Expedia. We were whatsapped by the hotel the day before arrival on this. After backwards and forwards, they folded and let us self check in. I’ve never heard of a hotel ever for a late check in fee. It’s not as if we were arriving in the middle of the night anyway, we landed at 22.30 on a Friday! The hotels attempt at a justification was there would be no staff after 9.30 Secondly, the drainage system was very loud in our room and kept going off in the middle of the night which disturbed our sleep

Holy cow this property and room was super amazing. We would stay here again in a minute. Breakfast was super!!! Service awesome. Clean and comfortable. The only thing I could even remotely complain about is we were put in the annex. Which was an incredible room/suite- but 7-8 minute walk from where we thought we were going to be.

What a wonderful place to stay! We were staying in the annex at San Maurizio which was less than a 10 minute walk to San Marco. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly. We loved it! Would highly recommend.

The property was situated just off the Grand Canal. Conveniently located the 2nd stop via water taxi from the rail station. This 15th century building was one time a single residence. Appointed to the period and conveniently located to many Venice sites. David the manager did an amazing job at suggesting and making dinner reservations, booked a private city tour and directions to many sites. If we had questions he was reachable by the “What’s up” app. Morning continental breakfast was delicious and served just off the lobby and in the outside court yard. Definitely would stay on our next visit to this beautiful and amazing city. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during our Venice visit! Highly RECOMMEND!!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Amelia and David were so wonderful! The location was perfect. Easy to grab the water taxis or water buses. We loved roaming the streets. Everything is right at your fingertips. David made a reservation at a wonderful restaurant for us. It was just perfection. We can’t wait to come back and stay here.

The hotel was a beautifully restored and decorated 500 year old property. The staff was very welcoming and rooms were clean. The breakfast, breakfast room and courtyard were lovely. Lea and staff greeted us with a smile and good food every morning. Plenty of food options can be found within quick walking distance to Stafano Plazza Also this hotel is literally steps from the S Sameule vaparetto stop. Keep in mind it doesn’t pick up in the morning until 10 and no service to it after 8pm. Make sure you know how to make your way to the hotel from the next closest stop. Overall definitely a five star property, location and experience.

Great staff with a great location. David and Lia were amazing towards our travel experience. The breakfast was great!!! David was so kind and gave us recommendations for dinner, which turned out great. Lia was also so kind to us. She helped us print out reservations for our train and gave us many travel tips. The hotel was beautiful - bedroom very small with little or no room around the bed but it was very pretty. However when we arrived the air on wasn’t working we reported this and staff at 2pm as we arrived - by 7 pm they confirmed the sitcom was t working at all in the building - our bedroom was 38degrees / we asked for a fan and they had none - could not sleep and ruined our anniversary. It was fixed the next day which was good- but it was so depressing I wanted to get a flight home- we were so tired that we barely did anything on the remaining day
