nice experience

Hotel was in Lido.visible from the station. Excellent service and friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Room and bathroom clean and tidy. Overall nice break.

Perfect weekend away

Hotel perfectly situated near the town and bus boat.lovely room with a view and the staff especially the receptionist were very informative to our questions on the history of Venice :-)

Great location, with a stunning view of Venice!

Whilst this hotel is not quite on venice it is actually the perfect location, with the water bus literally on your doorstep, meaning you actually get to st marks square quicker than you would if you were actually staying in venice! This hotel literally overlooks at marks square from across the water so the views are lovely! Sitting eating breakfast in the morning looking across the water was beautiful. Breakfast was good and there was hot choices as well as the continental breakfast but served in a buffet style so you had to get down early. Staff a little slow on reception but english was good. Budget rooms dont overlook the water but only to be expected. Would definitely return here if we came back again.

Amazing family holiday that we will remember for the rest of our lives .

The hotel was perfect . The staff was very friendly , helpful and they arranged a free transport to take us to Murano factory . You need to have a big wallet because you are paying for qaulity . The view from our hotel room was breathtaking . The waterbus station is 2 minutes walk from our hotel ,you could see it through our window . The area is very beautifull but very expensive .

Hotel with a view

The Villa Laguna has a great location right near the waterbus stop and on the Lagoon. I suggest a room with lagoon view which looks directly across to St Marks. The rooms have both a bedroom and small lounge, great for relaxing. I can imagine in warmer weather it would be lovely to sit outside in the hotel garden. The Lido itself has plenty of places to eat and stroll at a relaxing pace. We were in Venice for the Carnival and were not disappointed. Be prepared for large crowds though in and around St Marks square. The young lady working on Reception and breakfast waiter were so polite and helpful,nothing was too much trouble. One thing to note is the kitchen in the suites, this is only available at a 60 euro charge. I certainly would stay at the hotel again.

Annual winter getaway

This is the fourth time we stayed at this hotel. Perfect location to visit Venice. Breathtaking views from the breakfast room and our balcony. Staff are alway excellent, friendly and very helpful. Highly reccomended.
