The stuff at the hotel was extremely rude especially a lady. I spoke to that her name was Nancy. I called to cancel my reservation because I had a family emergency and was not able to make the booking. I graciously asked them to please refund me the money or to even Credit me or to reschedule the dates. They were not helpful in assisting customer who had an emergency and was not able to make the reservation even though it was the Expedia. The staff were friendly. Nothing was out of order during our stay. The hotel was quiet. Our room had a number of maintenance issues including a noisy ac unit which was noisy all night and did not cool to its set temperature. The shower head dripped all night long after using it. The refrigerator had a clicking noise every so often. We came to evacuate from a hurricane and this was one of the only options available. Not the best stay but not the worst. Seems this is an older place with some TLC needed.

The property is very close to downtown Stuart with great dining options and shopping! The overall appearance is acceptable . Our king suite had a musty old smell upon entering. The bed felt old and squishy which shocked me as Hampton in. Usually has awesome beds. When I spoke to the desk person in the am about how uncomfortable the bed was he said all the beds were new! I was shocked. The AC unit was under the window and did not seem to work properly. The room felt damp and musty. The room appeared to be in desperate need of a remodel to be up to expectations of a Hampton Inn.
