The style and ambience of the property was great!! Loved the fire pits in the courtyard and the access to the water. Rooms were great with comfy beds and pillows!!

An OK but not amazing stay
My stay was just ok. Not amazing, not horrible. After being placed in a room the first night with a non functioning door lock they did move me to another room for the night. However, I then had to pack back up and move out the next day which was a hassle back to the room with the now repaired lock. That room was not as clean, two light bulbs were burned out that I needed to have replaced. The room was functional, the stay was safe and just ok, nothing memorable or special. Dining and any type of snack or food options is very limited, the little counter service place in the lobby closes by 3pm. Price was high and not exactly "prestige" or "luxury" as the name implies by any means, but it worked.

What a great hotel. Easy to get to, very nice lobby and very clean. The room was nice, nothing special, just a nice room. The restaurant on property was very good, we had dinner there twice.

The property is beautiful, courrt yard setting and plants and firepit areas inviting. Food is far overpriced as well as the room price but does feel like a 5 star hotel so might be justified. But its still in Sooke, where they need more reasonable priced midrange rooms when visiting family.
