Surrounded by local cedar, fir and hemlock, experience a true West Coast Experience in a cozy custom log house located within walking distance to Sooke's amenities, parks, dock and beautiful Pacific Ocean. Relax and unwind under the stars at the fire pit, after a far infra red sauna followed by our Japanese outside cedar soaker tub. You'll feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and replenished.

Our pet friendly retreat charges a $60 pet fee per stay for up to 3 dogs. Payment is required via e-transfer prior to check-in if you did not include the pet fee with your reservation. Please note the retreat owner lives on the same property in the cottage at the end of the driveway.

Really good value!
I have stayed at many places all over Vancouver island, but this one was one of the better experiences and is very good value for the money. The soaker tub outside, the sauna, the outdoor fire pit, and robes made it extra cozy and special. I will book again for aure!

A modern, yet rustic log cabin home. Very cozy with private back yard. Just a couple of blocks from the Sooke boardwalk and a two minute drive to shops, restaurants, and a high-speed EV charger. Five minutes from Whiffen Spit. The property manager made sure we were comfortable and that we had everything to make our stay a pleasant one. Would highly recommend.

Michelles Log Cabin in Sooke is a great base to explore from. Our party of four adults and one dog had a fantastic time in the space and really enjoyed the large sunny garden (with lots of beautiful birds). Plenty of space for everyone, very comfy beds and everything you need in the kitchen to cook up some big family meals. Michelle was great with communication and has lots of information around the cabin to help you find interesting things to do in the local area. Will be back!!

We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here.

A sweet cozy little log home with everything you could need. We stayed 5 nights here with our family of 5. It was perfect. We love Sooke (this is our second stay in this area). The property has everything you could need. The beds are super comfy. We loved the households amenities, it meant packing so much less items each & being able to cook our own meals if we wanted. The soaker tub & sauna in the beautiful backyard were great. We did day trips out & were happy to return to a place like this, so easy to relax & wind down in.
