Booked a month before our weekend with Expedia. Ten days before our trip I was urgently needed inLOs Angeles because my brother in law was seriously and terminally ill. I had to fly out and so my friend who was to stay with me in Hotel Post asked for a refund . I then wrote out of compassion grounds and got a flat denial. Very unfair

Amazing location for a short trip to Vienna — walkable to restaurants and shops, with public transport close by. The room was clean and comfortable, and was surprisingly quiet given the city centre location. The hotel felt safe, and the breakfast included was great quality.

Good location, quiet and clean
A great location to explore St Stephens area. Shopping, restaurants are within a 10 minute easy walk. 15 minute easy walk to Mitte Landstrasse with easy connection to airport on CAT. Subway stop 5 minutes. Hotel was clean and nice, room was small but beds were comfortable and it was quiet, even though we were in a street-side room. Bathroom was very small but it met our needs. Breakfast was good. Cereal and bread choices, fruit, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon. Recommended

Love this old hotel and the room with parquet floor and beautiful wooden furniture. Super quiet right in the middle of everything you want to see the only negative aspect was the evening hotel receptionist who was definitely unpleasant.

For starters it does not appear like in the pictures. It is surrounded by street and city construction all around it. Not their fault of course. The quaint style of the hotel rooms from the hallway to the doors and window was fantastic!I believe it’s called Bauhaus architecture style. Surprised that this European hotel gave us all the utility stuff soaps shampoo body wash even shower caps ear swabs needle and thread and shower caps. Phew! Going from just soap in the European hotels to this. Breakfast was not as great as in Budapest. But definitely decent I would say. Construction around ruins the atmosphere. The lobby definitely needs an update. At first when I saw the lobby I was wondering if I had booked a shady hotel. They even have the glass elevators that fits into the architecture. Nice place decent breakfast people are good.

Wonderful area to stay in! Super close to everything. The rooms are small, which is fine for the areas you’re in. The bathroom is super tiny which is tough if you’re over 6ft, OR heavier set!
