Stayed 6 nights in a king room on a high floor at this wonderful hotel, which was a bit high for my normal price range, but I'm glad we splurged! The breakfast buffet is outstanding and we didn't miss the meat at all. The room was very chic & had a great view of the city from the large slanted windows with a motorized shade. The bathroom toiletries esp the body lotion were great. Hotel staff were all very professional, especially Afra at checkout. The gym was excellent and the rooftop bar was great except for the smokers spoiling it. The location is convenient next to the main train station and the Belvedere. Again, so glad we stayed here.

A fantastic experience, one I would recommend. Very convenient for the main station. Lots of public transport to get into city centre. Breakfast was really nice, the rooftop bar was worth a visit. Staff were very helpful, even providing me with some milk on check in so I could make a cup of tea! I paid extra for a city view room, I’m so pleased I did, this was worth the extra.

A very good hotel
A great hotel with comfy, modern rooms and a fabulous roof top bar. Breakfast was also excellent. The location is handy for the Hbf and Belvedere though there isn’t much else around. However the quality of the hotel made up for that, and there are plenty of transport options close by to connect with the city.

Overall, Mooons was fine, but I likely wouldn't stay there again. Pros: *Proximity to Wien HBF train station (about a 5 minute walk). *Recognizable building with an interesting theme. Cons: *Lack of attention to detail and potential hygiene issues. Staff member was noticeably sick while checking us in. Our room had eco bathroom products (which is great), but they were all low when we arrived, and the other toiletries (e.g., q-tip packs in our room were used). The bathroom lacked proper ventilation and smelled like mold. TV did not turn on. *At checkout, we were almost charged for breakfast (17 euro per person) which we did not take.

The hotel has a corporate vibe but there were plenty of tourists staying. The room was comfortable and well planned for lighting. Our room came with an iron and ironing board.

The hotel lived up to expectations. We had a lovely room with a view of the Vienna skyline. The staff were very friendly and helpful regarding receiving/returning my mobility scooter. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location and transport links.

Lovely place, gladly stored our luggage when we got in super early before check-in hours so we could explore Vienna. Great bar on the roof, good service and views all around. Only minor complaint would be the bed - I know it's Europe so a Queen is often two doubles strapped together, but I often found myself rolled into the divot between them every morning. Also, the A/C was not doing the best job keeping up with the heat, needs an upgrade, but again - Europe.

Nice hotel, great for airport and train station, nice little bakery around the corner. Right next to the Belvedere Palace and some little restaurants in the side streets. Only a 30-35 minute walk into the centre of Vienna, overall a nice place to stay.

Very close to Vienna central train station, able to check in earlier than advertised. Room with a view of central Vienna with St Stephen’s cathedral clearly visible. Belvedere palace is only a short walk. Rooftop bar is a very nice feature too. Recommended.

Perfect place to visit Vienne ,just across the boulevard the haufbanhoff train Station , also direct aero bus to airport . Belvedere palace garden at 2 street corner . Also metro station . Good breakfast . Quiet modern .

All the staff we interacted with at the Mooons hotel were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the rain shower and water pressure were excellent. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The location is excellent if traveling by train as it is near the central station and access to the subway nearby made getting around Vienna very easy. Doing a day trip to Bratislava was also very easy as the central bus terminal was nearby as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna.
