Great location but not a great property
Spectacular location. The contents of the villa need updating things were old and sometimes didn't work. For the price paid the condition should be better

Amazing week
If you like big resorts, this place is not for you. But if you are after a place where you listen to sound of sea waves , want to share a beach just with big crabs and have a great starting point to your La Palma trips don't look anywhere else. The villa is in a secluded area with just few houses and for most of the week we were there alone. Amazing Milky way you can see from the terrace. The Casa Lola is an older house, but spotlessly clean, we loved its style and forgiven some minor issues. Communication with owner was fantastic and felt really welcome. We also felt in love with La Palma. For us it's like a small copy of Hawaii's Big Island, but much closed. We will be definitelly back and stay in Casa Lola again.

Excellent facilities and position
The villa is very well situated overlooking the beach, although would have been very hard to find - thanks for meeting us at the airport, Mario! Unfortunately the weather was not great, but we enjoyed watching the rough sea! It should be pointed out that the jacuzzi is heated only by the sun, and therefore hardly useable in January, and that the third bathroom is only accessed from outside. However we had a very good week and were well able to self-cater, with a Spar in Mazo, fruit and vegetable market also in Mazo at weekends, and full shopping facilities in Santa Cruz - and another market. Local restaurants were fine, particularly the mixed grilled fish platters - but check opening hours.

Wonderful villa in beautiful setting
Mario was a very good host. Even though we had a rental car and said we could meet him at the villa, Mario still insisted on meeting us at the airport. This was probably best as we may have had some trouble finding the villa otherwise. The villa itself was beautiful and very well equipped. You could tell that Mario and his wife had furnished it with a lot of love and care. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, and utility room. There was plenty of outdoors seating, the pool was very clean and well maintained and there was even direct access to the rocks/sea. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks Mario!

Top Haus in Top Lageā€¦immer wieder gern!
Wir waren mit 5 Personen/ Familie in der Villa Lola. Das Haus liegt wirklich absolut top gelegen, direkt am Meer. Das Haus war super sauber, die Ausstattung hatte wirklich alles notwendige zu bieten. Man merkt, dass das Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet wurde, nicht irgendwie alles zusammengewĆ¼rfelt. Mario, der EigentĆ¼mer, war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Selten haben wir es ein Haus in dieser Ausstattung mit diesem Preis-LeistungsverhƤltnis gemietet. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Beautiful house
We spent 2 weeks on La Palma in this house. The house is very well equipped (loved the pool also) and spaceous. Location is a bit rural (Santa Cruz is 30 min by car) and windy, but you can walk to the restaurant in Salemera. All in all a place to recommend.

Der Urlaub war sehr schƶn, aber das Haus mĆ¼sste Ć¼berholt werden. Die Fenster sind fast undurchsichtig. Viele EinrichtungesgegenstƤnde abgewohnt. Sehr netter Host und warmherzige BegrĆ¼ĆŸung.

Lage unbezahlbar
Die Lage ist wirklich einmalig, direkt am Meer mit Treppe zum Strand. Ohne Auto geht gar nichts. Der Vermieter war nett . Das Haus ist eigentlich wirklich toll aber die ein oder andere Reparatur ist Ć¼berfƤllig. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier absolut richtig. Leider war es nach unserem VerstƤndnis nicht so sauber und wir hatten mehrmals Probleme mit der Elektrik ( der FI-Schalter hat sich mehrmals verabschiedet). Unser Fazit ist fĆ¼r den Preis hƤtte ich mehr erwartet aber schƶn ist es auf jeden Fall.

Wir hatten super Wetter und haben den Aufenthalt genossen.
Ein paar kleine Sachen im und um dem Haus kƶnnten eine VerjĆ¼ngung vertragen. Der Vermieter ist sehr bemĆ¼ht alle wĆ¼nsche zu erfĆ¼llen. Danke das wir noch ein paar Stunden lƤnger bleiben konnten , da unser Flug sehr spƤt startete.

The villa is situated outside the town, next to the ocean. The views are spectacular! Mario is very nice man. He is very helpful. The only downside for me was strong wind on this side of the island in december - not Mario's fault :)

Toller Place to be mit Meerrauschen und Sternenhimmel
Wir haben dort 2 Wochen verbracht, 3 Erwachsene und ein Kind. Das Haus ist toll gelegen, ein Mietwagen wird definitiv gebraucht. TƤglich ausser Sonntags kommt ein Auto, welches super leckere Brƶtchen bringt, wenn man eine TĆ¼te mit Geld an die TĆ¼r aussen hƤngt bzw. das Auto abpasst. Der einfache Weg zum Einkaufen betrƤgt ca. 20 min. Das Kiosko am Leuchturm ist sehr zu empfehlen! Am Haus und teilweise an der Einrichtung nagt der Zahn der Zeit und des Salzwassers. Der Garten ist wunderschƶn und der Aussenbereich ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es war sehr windig, den Balkon konnten wir nicht benutzen, aber beim Eingang vorne kann man super FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cken und unten beim Freisitz wunderbar zu Abendessen. Der Sternenhimmel ist ein Traum, wurde leider in der zweiten Woche von neuen Leuchtmitteln im Leuchturm durch extreme Blendwirkung sehr gestƶrt (strahlt zu sehr ins Landesinnere/ aufs Haus) Mit den Ameisen im und ums Haus haben wir uns arrangieren kƶnnen. Der Meerwasserpool ist groƟartig!

Tolles Haus in grandioser Lage!

Casa Lola
Es ist einfach nicht schƶn, nach einem Urlaub eine Beurteilung quasi unbekannt abzugeben. Wenn uns etwas in einem Urlaub nicht gefƤllt oder nicht so ist wie versprochen, dann klƤren wir das immer vor Ort direkt mit den verantwortlichen Personen. Wir haben uns in der Casa Lola rundum wohlgefĆ¼hlt und Herr Mario Perez Martin ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber.

Eine Oase der Ruhe
Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert, bietet genĆ¼gend Platz und RĆ¼ckzugsmƶglichkeiten. Auch die Terasse und der Garten sind groƟzĆ¼gig und bieten je nach Geschmack Sonnen- wie auch SchattenplƤtze. Mario, der Vermieter ist sehr bemĆ¼ht und reagiert prompt, wenn man ihn braucht. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen. :-)
