This is how it should be done
This is simply a great place. Rustic feel, but modern and clean and fun. Picnic area out back along the Mad River with WiFi access was one of the highlights of our week long visit too Vermont.

The room was small, but the space was very well used and super cute! Lovely decorated, it had a queen and twin beds that were very comfortable. It even had a full lenght mirror, refrigerator and closet with additional pillows. Free parking in front of the room was convenient. There was free coffee and tea at the office, and snacks and beverages for purchase. Lodge grounds are very pretty and well maintained, with the Mad River nearby and accessible. The area is quiet and has many places to eat that you can get to in a few minutes. The only issue we had is that we couldn’t open the room with the instructions we were given, but we went back to the office and help was provided inmediately. We definitely recommend it.

This is a renovated motel that has been modernized and is in good condition. The room was standard two bed motel room with full bath. Everything clean, beds comfortable, free coffee and low cost breakfast snacks in lobby. Overall, comfortable. Walking path at rear yard includes walking bridge across river and extends along river. Nice walk. Manager was very helpful and i enjoyed talking with him. This is a bit pricey for what you get, but it is the height of leaf viewing season and alternatives are slim. I would stay here again.

Great space for the weekend with 1 queen bedroom and pullout sofa. Small space would be tight for entertaining or a longer stay with more stuff, but perfect for a fall weekend visit to the MRV where the condo is mostly for sleeping. No closet space, but more shelf space for storing clothes than you expect.
