The hotel was conveniently located near the Metro and offered a variety of dining options within walking distance. The breakfast was enjoyable, and our room was spacious and well-appointed with a kitchenette. While the room and furniture could benefit from a modern update, the overall experience was pleasant.

We stayed one night for the Marine Corps Marathon. The hotel is within walking distance from the Finish, which was good for that. The staff needs to be a little more up to speed(they didn't give garage instructions, didn't explain breakfast, and didn't seem thrilled we asked for late checkout on a Marathon weekend!) The hotel is overdue for an update(1970s decor and vibe, The Shining anyone?) They had a sign that read "Welcome Runners." Well, the staff needs to agree with that statement. My husband ran the 50k in less than 5 hours, finishing at 12:15 p.m. (checkout is at 11:00). I had confirmed late checkout at 1 p.m. with the manager and came to find my key inactive and couldn't get in the room. Then, after 5 minutes, they came knocking on the door(the guy wanted a hot shower!). Anyway, it served its purpose, but we will probably look for a different one next time he runs the race.

Great place to stay. I have been coming here in October for the past 8 years and am always pleased. This hotel is clean, convenient to the city, and within walking distance of restaurants and transportation. I wish there was some sort of TV chart, or guide available to make it easier to see what programs are offered and available.

This place was like the Hotel of Horrors, literally archaic. I don’t think they’ve updated anything since the 1980’s. The lights in my room didn’t work, the refrigerator initially didn’t work but then a maintenance member came and saw it wasn’t plugged in. Outlets didn’t work. It smelled weird. This place needs to be leveled and rebuilt from the ground up.

Clean and Spacious Room
Very clean and spacious room. Professional team at front desk. Reasonable price. Great location for DC tourists. My only issue was shower not hot enough for my taste, but my husband was satisfied with it. Free breakfast was okay, but no bacon. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel for those who value cleanliness and value.
