I think the location was very central and next to the metro. The hotel and staff were great ! My only issue is that there is no parking whatsoever for this property so they offer valet and they charge $50 per day to have the car parked overnight and the worse part is that there is no other option. There is no street parking because of it's busy location and even if you find street parking, it's at least two streets down. I wish that was publicly mentioned somewhere because I would've made alternate accommodations when I was booking hotels for my DC trip. The hotel AND expedia should make it a option to add parking to their reservation or offer a discounted price for multiple days. Very disappointed with the lack of information. Don't book this hotel unless you are going to use public transportation. They are a two minute walk from a train station so keep that in mind.

I had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard hotel, thanks to the great staff and exceptional service. The bartender was a highlight—she made the best French 75 I’ve ever had! Housekeeping was excellent, keeping my room clean daily without any need for reminders. However, I did experience a minor issue with the toilet not flushing properly. While I felt safe inside the hotel, the area just outside was less reassuring. There was a homeless man sitting near the 7-Eleven with a cart full of belongings, and I noticed some rats in the area, which was unsettling.

There are a few things that stuck out to me in this room. The front desk staff was friendly & very welcoming. The room was clean & looked really nice. However, there is no full length mirror inside of the room. The mirror is in the bathroom, behind the door. One main thing that’s missing in the description of the room, is that you are awaken by trains all night. When you look outside of your hotel room window, all you see are apartment buildings, & train tracks. That definitely needs to be included in the description, especially if you’re a light sleeper. Outside of that, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I just wouldn’t stay there again.

We stayed 6 days and switched Rommy’s 2 times. The first room, the safe was not working, so we moved to another one with bed bugs because my friend had a rash on her skin, and finally we stayed at that room for only 2 nights and it was ok, considering that they didn’t clean our room one whole day and their explanation made no sense. We were overcharged and when we asked the lady said “give it a couple of days and it will go away. She was rude and I had to call a manager for him to reverse the charge and then it was good but it was very inconvenient and I don’t think I’ll stay there anymore

On the positive, the staff at the hotel were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. However, during our stay there were issues with the elevators being out of service, a fire alarm test that was conducted without warning, and our room overlooked noisy train tracks. Additionally, there was no fan in the bathroom so the room got quite stuffy. Would still book again, but only because it's so convenient to our destination.
