Located directly on the DC Wharf boardwalk, I can confidently say Hyatt House exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I made my reservation, I felt welcomed even before I arrived with follow up emails with detail instructions. Truly remarkable—everything from the cleanliness of the room to the thoughtful amenities made my stay incredibly comfortable. NOTE: I was particularly impressed by the FREE superb breakfast buffet offered--featuring a delicious array of options. It was a delightful way to start the day with family, friends and laughter. Unequivocally, I recommend this Hyatt House DC Wharf for anyone looking for quality accommodations at an affordable price, great room views, prime location on the Wharf boardwalk, EXEMPLARY customer service, and delightful offerings, I couldn't have asked for anything more. It’s truly a five-star EXPERIENCE that I look forward to repeating in the future!

Our 5th night in, someone was trying to break in by banging the door 4 times around 8:30pm and each time door kept opening to the safety hook. I called the front desk immediately and the maintenance guy examined the door and acknowledged door was somewhat wobbly and loose. I asked them to call the police and they said it was not necessary as they will do walkarounds. After I expressed several tomes that we do not feel safe, They moved us to other room. After this incident, noone checked in with us how we were doing( my daughter is 11 and she was quite shaken). Best part was the supervisor who was working on Aug 25th morning, she was helping us at checkout, although there was a note about the incident, not even a casual comment asking how the stay was. When i asked about the security deposit, instead of answering my question, directed to her junior staff to answer questions as if my question is not worth her time. ( there was no guest either check in or check out)she started chatting and laughing with her other staff. Best part was the GM said that other guest tried to enter our room by mistake. He did not check with his staff who was in charge that night. The supervisor moved us to other room because the door was not properly locked

We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt House DC/Wharf! Property was clean and relaxing, we enjoyed use of the rooftop pool which had wonderful views and the complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations. All staff was friendly and courteous. We loved the area as there are many restaurant options and enjoyed just hanging out on the wharf.

I don’t leave reviews. Ever. But I feel like this one is warranted. Visited the area for a concert, so obviously the hotel was at max capacity. Valet was full, parking garage was full, only to be told after sitting in the parking line for nearly 45 minutes. Once we arrived to the hotel around 4:45, I was told my room wasn’t ready! Which is crazy because check in is 3! I do applaud the cleaning service the rooms were spotless, but management needs to re-evaluate their staffing needs when they know there is a large event going on that people are in town for

In the beginning I had bad experiences because the refrigerator was no working and the housekeeper let my trash spread in my stand TV, the hotel apologized about the incident but I don’t feel was good, the rest day was good.

very affordable for families with 1-2 kids who want separate bedrooms. roof top pool is beautiful and clean, with views of the capitol and views of regan airport. its situated in the middle of the wharf with dozens of restaurants with many different cuisines. the hotel provides free continental breakfast with eggs, protein and hash browns that are freshly made and refreshed quickly. cereal and breads and fruits are also provided with various juices and starbucks coffee are all free. the rooms are very spacious and some rooms come with kitchens and mini fridge. beds are very comfortable and plush. bathroom comes with basic amenities including quality shampoo conditioner and hairdryer. the staff are very friendly and very helpful. i would highly recommend staying here.
