Shower door was stuck, cabinet drawers didn’t shut, had limited staffing for house keeping, nice front desk lady but maybe could find someone a little more professional and prompt. Key cards constantly stopped working for the door. Be prepared to pay for your hotel twice as they charge you for “incidentals” which is the price of what you paid. Overall great value but expected a little more from the Hyatt chain.

The hotel was average. The Staff was hospitable.The room was clean. I would have love to have a microwave in the room along with the mini fridge rather than walk downstairs to the lobby. There wasn’t any ice available on the floors-windows could use a good cleaning which would make the view (street side) a lot nicer.

Our room did not have heat. We informed the front desk and they said they would send a technician. When we returned to our room, we still did not have heat. We left 4 hours prior to checkout because our room was so cold. When we informed the front desk again during checkout, they said it wasn’t anything they could do because we booked through Expedia.

The property is near the Capitol, museum and other attractions. However, my first day was not convenient. I could not enter to check in as I don’t have a keycard. I waited for 10 minutes in the cold weather to enter. Luckily somebody went out so I could enter. No restaurant in the hotel. No convenience store nearby. You have to booked an Uber or have your own car and pay for parking. In my 4 days stay my room was not cleaned. You have to request at the counter downstairs for cleaning but nobody came. The breakfast menu is the same for 4 days. I did not get value for my money.

I was not able to enter the hotel to check-in. I waited outside for 10 minutes in the cold weather waiting for somebody to exit the hotel so I could enter. Finally, I was able to enter and the receptionist informed me you can enter the hotel only if you have the key card. That’s a strange policy. Very unfriendly hotel.

No smoking hotel but the bathroom smells like someone was smoking in it before we came in. Not an ideal environment to have a toddler around. Staff and property were absolutely fantastic but marking the place down due to the cigarette smell.

I arrived at the hotel and was immediately greeted by a very friendly front desk Agent, dropped off my bags as our flight arrived early. When we got back a few hours later that agent’s shift appeared to have ended and another young lady was checking us in, zero conversation, she did not really acknowledge me and had the most unpleasant look on her face. I thought that was the worst part of the trip, on Saturday October 26th we got back to the hotel from sightseeing and there was no electricity, elevators were not working and the hotel was in darkness, guests were advised by staff that the generator was old and cannot power the elevators, exasperated and tired I relaxed in the lobby for 2 hours, no communication from the staff, we were not even offered a bottle of water, instead we were told it’s $5. After 3 hours I had to climb 15 flights of stairs to get to my room on the 15th floor, there was no AC nor lights in the room, after being in the room for about 30 mins I went back to front desk and ask what’s the alternative plan, the agent replied “ we can give you 50% off tonight’s rate, that’s the best we can do or we can process a refund” mind you I booked 4 nights at the hotel and which was not cheap. I was appalled at the service, You can never get through to front desk via phone from your room, no one answers, complementary breakfast was the worst I have experienced…….housekeeping staff was great, but I would never go back to that hotel, I have stayed at over 30 hotels
