Overall, the property was very nice. The rooms and lobby were clean. The breakfast was good as well. Our only gripe was the hotel bar was closed all three nights due to someone calling out each night. About a 6 minute walk to the Eisenhower Line (Yellow), so it was convenient to get into DC.

We loved the Residence Inn. Good breakfast. Staff were very polite. Walking distance to King Street. Several restaurants in the immediate vicinity. $8 for bottled water in the room was rather excessive.

Great short notice stay in Alexandria
Great three night stay here, it’s a little walk from the nearest metro station but no major trouble. The soundproofing of the room we stayed in was excellent, so no complaints about noise. Complimentary breakfast was great at the weekend, but disappointing to see it scaled back on Monday. The chap on the front desk was a real credit to the organisation, very friendly, helpful and professional.

This hotel is clean and my room with a King Bed is very large. I have a kitchen and small sofa. It might be a sofabed. There is a dining table. I love that breakfast is included. There is a lobby bar, Wegmans and wholefoods walking distance. I would certainly return here with my family so we can explore Alexandria and DC. There are buses, metro train, a free trolley on king st, a waterfront, museums, & plethora of restaurants.
