Beautiful hotel room. It reminded me of staying in SoHo in NYC, and conveniently located in proximity to some of the best wineries in NYS. The modern amenities in the bathroom were a treat, and I enjoyed a relaxing bath with the peppermint bath bomb provided. A divine place to stay :)
Central location easy to walk the Main Street shops. The room was modern and beautiful with double vanity, huge walking shower and standing tub. King bed, full size fridge. Glassware, dishes and microwave. There is no assigned parking which wasn’t a problem in December but may be in a busier season( I knew this in advance). Great access to the Seneca Wine Trail. Super quiet building with only 3 other rooms. We would recommend it and would stay again. However I would worry about parking in a busy summer season.
The room was amazing and spotless. Very comfortable bedding, huge bathroom with tub and separate walk in shower, kitchen had fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
The location was great. Close to restaurants and right above a wine bar that hosted wine tasting the night we were there.
The only minor issue was with a key code for check in but hosts were at the wine bar and helped us with the check in so it wasn’t really a problem. They were very helpful.
I would stay there again and again. It was lovely. Thank you
The Benjamin Hotel was absolutely perfect! This is a new hotel so it’s currently a hidden gem. Once more people find out about this place, it will be nearly impossible to book a room. There are only 4 rooms and each one has its own design. We stayed in the Watkins room and it was incredible. It should be known that there is no actual staff. You have a pin to get into your room. It’s really an awesome idea. The rooms are brand new and extremely clean and over the top. The bathroom is huge with a dual shower head shower. The room is extremely spacious with the most comfortable bed ever. Everything in the room is brand new and top notch. Of all the hotels we have ever stayed in, this was definitely the nicest. We can’t recommend this place enough. The only small downfall is there is only currently street parking, but it was perfectly fine. We did speak with some people who said they are working on finding a better parking spot. This hotel was worth every penny!!
We stayed at Jefferson room for two nights. Although this room is facing the busy Main Street, we slept soundly and did not hear anything. We were impressed with the roominess of our room. The bathroom was also spacious. I would recommend putting a bar to hang on to when showering for safety. We love the comfort and convenience of this hotel. It is walkable to restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park.
We just got back from our stay at the Benjamin Hotel in Watkins Glen. The hotel was conveniently located right in the downtown area near all the shops and restaurants and a quick walk down to Lake Seneca. Our room was HUGE! The bathroom itself is the size of some hotel rooms. There was even a walk out to the rooftop. Parking was a breeze, especially since it was fall. The hotel is located directly above a nice bar, a wine bar and a breakfast place. We met the owner down at the wine bar and she even invited us to a private event they were holding that night. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Benjamin.
Great place to stay! Me and my boyfriend actually booked a second night! The room is so beautiful and the bed is super comfortable! It is in a great location! Would definitely recommend to my friends and hope to stay again soon!
We stayed at the Benjamin for 3 nights and loved it. The room was so attractive, well-planned and spotless. Others have mentioned the parking challenges, so I won’t repeat that concern. However, I cannot believe that no one has mentioned the empty cupboards in the kitchen. There are no dishes of any kind, no plates, no bowls, no mugs, and no utensils at all. If you stay here, you should know this.
It had a rustic charm. It had all the conveniences for a two night stay. I loved the decor and everything I needed to do was within walking distance. I wish they had a towel bar or hooks to hang towels near the entrance of the walk in shower. Otherwise I felt at home and comfortable.
Very nice place. Would stay there again. Only negative is that you have to find your own parking and there are stairs to climb to the rooms. Otherwise the rooms are very nice, spacious, and location is great if you want to be in town!
