I had two dogs with me so really appreciated the green space and trail behind the hotel. The owners have big plans for this place and I can’t wait to see it in a few years. It’s good now and they are friendly with excellent service so it’s only going to get better!
I did not expect much when booking but was dispointed to see that the room was dirty. It was also freezing cold and never warmed up. The last and most annoying issuse was the ridiculously high pet fee charge for our cat. This was 40 dollars on a 100 dollar room. I wouldn't mind if this money was used to do extra cleaning on the room, however, clearly it wasn't. I recommend booking somewhere else.
This motel was adequate. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable (a big plus) but it’s very loud beside the highway and there was no soap or shower gel for the bathtub/shower. There was a bottle but it was empty. We stayed there for the Northern lights (as the name suggests) but the hotel is so lit up that even though they were highly likely that night we couldn’t see them.
The room was incredibly clean and loved the little touches such as the books, crib game, deck of cards, etc. Staff were warm and welcoming.

The owners recently took over this motel after it had been closed for a few years. They are working hard to bring it back up to standard. The rooms were a little musty, and yet there were many lovely touches in the rooms, including an umbrella in case it rained and many wonderful pictures and sayings posted. we are very glad we stayed there. It is not a place for someone right now who is not willing to be flexible. I think the family will do a great job as they continue to improve the property.
Good clean small motel just off highway outside Wawa. For us we were just heading back from BC and Wawa is the usual last stop for us. Being immediately off the highway was convenient. It is next to the Ford dealer so with lighting of the dealer you feel safe and not secluded. The rooms were big and while dated, they have been maintained and are very clean and comfortable. The young man at the desk was very polite and engaging. I would stay there again.

The room had a strong smell of perfume like when we entered. We realized the strong plugin scented room fragrance the next morning but it was way too strong all night long. No window on the front entrance side where the car is only back small window. We felt claustrophobic to a degree. The room was tidy. TV was impossible to figure out and instructions said to contact owner but we were too tired to have someone come in the room. The pillow cover was not a regular pillowcase but a thick Sham. No one should be forced to sleep on a sham cover. Rug in the room and allergies in high gear. The room was large enough and the host was nice. Traffic noise on the main highway in the background too. Overall if these issues get rectified, the room would be decent. Fair price!
Cutest little motel ever. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are awesome
We loved every moment. A cute little quaint spot to sleep while travelling.
Little signs everywhere to give instructions.
The only thing that didn’t work was the satellite tv. But hey. Who needs tv. It was so retro.
The owner of this motel is very helpful and accomodating, communicates effectively and goes over and above. Wonderful guest service. The room is very nice and comfortable.
