Not good check in, keys didn't work, 1st room was occupied, was yold no rooms available, she lied. Found us a room. She told my friends who didn't have a reservation no rooms available. But i was there with them , hearing my problems, she found a room for them to, she lied again. Not happy at all.

Red Lion Mineral Wells
Although the building is older than the ones I have recently stayed in other cities, the lobby and my room were clean. Plenty of parking with the lot well lit. Breakfast was provided even though I did not eat at the hotel. Check in staff member was friendly and apologized for the guest laundry being under repair. The location was perfect for my needs in a one night stay.

Compared to other hotels I have stayed at, at triple the cost, this hotel and staff far outshine all others. The pool was well maintained. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and super quiet. The beds were comfortable. I was extremely impressed and will stay again. Highly recommend.

Friendly/welcoming staff!! Breakfast consists of coffe/juice, eggs with cheese, sausage gravy, sausage patty, biscuits, and fried potatoes (which was all really yummy), and make it yourself waffles with all the condiments. Pool area was CLEAN, and relaxing. We stay here every weekend, and always have a good experience.

Repairs needed.
The bathroom floor needs to be replaced a lot of broken tile. The plumbing is in bad shape due to hard water issues. The beds mattress was worn out.

Love this hotel always stay here when I come to Mineral Wells my grand kids and myself enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet is very good something for kids and adults
