Property was nice and close to the CBD, pity there was no air conditioning (just a table top fan) so we had to sleep with the windows open, then before 7.30 the bins get unloaded outside so you don't need an alarm clock

The cleanest hotel room…ever!

This is a small hotel that is near Lambton Quay and the Terrace. At first sight, it did not look like a hotel. When you enter, the reception is very small and there was a long dark corridor to the rooms. I was on an upper floor. The room was surprisingly spacious! There was a small kitchenette and a washer/ dryer. What struck me most was the fact that this was the cleanest hotel room that I have ever stayed in (and in a year, I may have stayed in 20 hotels!) Everything was lovely… the one possible drawback is that the reception closes early. You will need to pick up your luggage before it shuts!

Great central location as it is only a short walk down to Lambton Quay. It is quite steep though and there are quite a few steps to come back up. The apartment was good and functional but being in a city it can be quite noisy. I don’t want to sound too negative because we actually quite liked it.

Very hot room

Beware if you are visiting in the summer. This hotel does NOT have air conditioning, and the fans provided do not combat the heat on the 3rd floor. The windows need to be open, and the delivery trucks start at 5AM. Very hard to sleep. The sheets are very stiff and scratchy. This is billed as an apartment hotel but there is no separate sitting area. It is a glorified hotel room with a kitchenette, with one armchair for sitting. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, but can't compensate for the building's deficiencies. Definitely not one I would recommend, nor choose to return.
