Don’t stay here if you want sleep.
You could hear a party which sounded like it was just outside my window all night. In addition the vallet staff was recklessly driving peoples cars.

It was okay at best, the bed skirt and sheets were a little gross(mostly the bed skirt was hanging off the bed and had a bunch of hair and dirt in it), I would put it at 2.5-3 star hotel.

The area is clean, the front of the property is clean and so is the lobby. However, the room was not properly cleaned. The bathroom had visible signs of the previous guest (hair and stains in the bathroom sink. The bedsheets was not clean. But we didnt realize how unclean it was until the morning. In addition, the entire place had a wierd smell, like a moldy smell. They can make sure sheets are changed after each guest leaves. I am not confident it was done with us.

Guest were allowed to hang out in hallways late at night making very loud noise, while outside in an area that has cigar night on Thursdays the very next night we were told that we could not smoke cigars because of smoke coming into restaurant, so moved to another location away from restaurant without any issues, the following night my wife and i came into the hotel at about 9 and there was hooka being smoked in the same area we were asked to move from and the lobby and hallway smelled of Marijuana. This was my second stay at the Royal Regency i really like the hotel and enjoy staying here when i come to NY just felt that whole incident of being told that we couldn't smoke in an area that has cigar events was not handled correctly.

Beautiful hotel and room, but my room was next to sidewalk with people arguing and such. And I could hear the room next to me clearly, arguing then playing TV too loud all night
