It was terrible. The bar was closed the restaurant was closed. It should not be advertised as a resort at all. The linens were the worst I have ever experienced at a hotel in 60 years. They did not tell me that we had to ask to have the room cleaned. So that was a problem. They should at least tell you at check in that you had to request room clean and towels and coffee

Loved the view, but not the suite.
My overall rating was a little higher because of the friendly front desk employees and the view of the oceanfront was beautiful. However, the room was less than desirable. The couch bottom had no support left. You literally sat down on the metal frame of the sofa bed. The ceiling in the bathtub/shower was flaking off and the shower enclosure looked filthy. Also, we had a half of a roll of TP in one bathroom and a new one in the other. That was it, no extra. The towels/wash clothes were the same, one each. I know we could have called down for all of those items if need be, but this would have been our first time having to request additional TP at a hotel/resort.

The door did not have a secure lock system, lock was part of framing. Refrigerator was outdated with the door being part of freezer which didnt freeze anything internet was overloaded so hard to have a consistent connection

The resort is very dated. Our particular unit was dingy- the main bathroom was normally cleaned, the bed was uncomfortable, and the paint was chipping in places. The ocean front view was beautiful, and it was quiet- but the place needs a major refresher. We won’t stay there again.

Initially the resort is dated and appears older. When checking in staff was pleasant. But our room turned out to have been uncleaned (sand in bed, no amenities including toilet paper or towels), broken lock on balcony door, drafty room with whistling sound from balcony door, broken remote. After complaining to the front desk, and having to repeat the issue to 3 separate staff members because no one communicated our issues to the next staff members (with no apologies), they gave us a new room, which was much better than the first, which lead us to believe they put us in the TRASH ROOM. The remainder of our stay was fine.

Beautiful place, area, and views! Restaurant was lacking as were options in the immediate area, but Wilmington had nice choices, and of course the room gad a kitchen. Biggest issue was I left items behind and immediately (w/in 30 min of checking out) contacted them. Responses were slow or not at all. I did eventually get my items back but one of a few messages that went ignored was my request for shipping/tracking info, eta. Never heard back. But again, I did receive my items. Just, being ignored is never good and very unprofessional. Front desk staff was great. Restaurant staff too, the food just wasn’t. Grandkids didn’t even like it. Only went there once for dinner and never went back. Tried once for breakfast but they opened too late (8 or 9).
