Room was very dated & didn’t feel clean. There also was no water bottles for drinking & the water along with everything else in the room smelled like chlorine/bleach. The location is awesome at the north end of Wrightsville Beach, but other than that, I would not stay here again.

First Time Visitors
Everything was great. The only suggestion is the shower knob needs to be tightened. This was our first time at Shell Island Resort and it left a pretty good impression on us. We will be back and will request the same room. Thank you to Madison for finding us a room on the top floor. I called days in advance to make request and the person I spoke with did not place it in the notes. Madison worked her magic and it is greatly appreciated.

Room needed updating had a musty smell. Tv had no directions on how to use their cable provider so couldn’t change channels. We left after 1 night even though we paid for 2 nights so we lost money! Won’t stay here again 👎

The property location is excellent, on the BEACH !! The outside grounds were pretty and appearance was great. The staff ... HALEY & TIFFANY Were AWESOME to deal with. I had some issues with the room ... TIFFANY & HALEY were able to help with rectifying the situation. These units are individually owned which can be challenging when a problem arises.

Great location on Wrightsville Beach. Small space was fine for my husband and myself. The particular condo we rented (213) needs some maintenance attention that I reported to the front desk. While the unit appears clean and neat, the floor was obviously not kept as clean as it could be, because my feet were dirty on the bottom after walking barefoot for an hour. Housekeeping left hair in the shower drain, which made me wonder if it had been cleaned properly prior to our arrival.

A lot of long hairs on the room floors and bathrooms, older furnishings, tub fixtures were pitted. Sheets( long hair on sheet also) and towels were not the greatest but serviceable. I had a few bug bites and not sure from where or when. There wasn’t anyone to help with bags. The ice machine was out of ice. The elevator walls were sketchy. On the other hand the room had a great view, it was a short watch to the beach and the pool area was clean and we were there only a couple days and had a good time.
