Atemberaubende Pine Lodge, privat und familienfreundlich

Die Whiteface Pine Lodge ist ein atemberaubendes Blockhaus auf einem 7 Hektar großen Privatgrundstück und bietet Zugang zu Wanderwegen und zum Angeln am Ausable River direkt vor der Hintertür. Nur acht Kilometer vom Whiteface Mountain entfernt bietet diese gemütliche, aber geräumige Ferienwohnung Platz für 14 Personen und ist perfekt für aufregende Outdoor-Abenteuer und endlose Indoor-Unterhaltung für Jung und Alt geeignet.

Im Erdgeschoss betreten die Gäste durch einen großen Schmutzraum einen großen Raum mit bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten um einen schönen Steinkamin. Weiter geht es in die offene Küche und in den Essbereich, wo 12 Personen am Tisch und mehr an der Bar Platz finden. Die erstklassige Küche ist gut ausgestattet und macht die Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten für große Gruppen einfach und angenehm. Direkt neben dem Essbereich befindet sich eine große Veranda mit einem Tisch und Stühlen für 10-12 Personen, Liegen zum Entspannen, einem großen Gasgrill und ein paar Schritte weiter eine Feuerstelle und ein geräumiger, offener Hof. Es ist ein perfekter Ort für ein Barbecue im Freien oder einen Abend mit Blick auf den offenen Himmel und friedliche Waldflächen.

Die Master-Suite mit Kingsize-Bett befindet sich im Erdgeschoss, direkt neben der Küche durch eine große Speisekammer. Das Haus bietet bequem Platz für 14 Personen mit einem geräumigen Schlafraum und Schlafboden im zweiten Stock und zwei privaten Schlafzimmern im fertigen Keller - eines mit einem Kingsize-Bett, das andere mit einer Königin. Wenn Ihre Gruppe gerne spielt, ist dies das perfekte Zuhause, da es mit Tischtennis- und Tischfußballtischen, Brettspielen und Spielzeug ausgestattet ist. Es gibt auch Kabel-TV, eine Sammlung von DVDs, Highspeed-WLAN und eine X-Box für Ausfallzeiten. Mit Sammelplätzen auf allen drei Etagen gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für alle Arten von Gruppen!
Dieses Ferienhaus ist während deines Aufenthalts der ideale Ausgangspunkt für einen kurzen Fußmarsch hierhin: Ausable River. Unter anderem verfügbar: eine Wäscherei. Dieses Ferienhaus verfügt über eine Küche und 2.5 Badezimmer.

Fall in the Adirondacks

Another great time at this beautiful and clean home in Wilmington. We love the location to the peaks for hikes, the river for fishing, and Lake Placid for shopping. This is one of our favorite places to rent in the area.

Great stay in Wilmington!

Two families and long-time friends stayed at the lodge over Labor Day weekend. Location was perfect for the dads finishing their 46 on Whiteface! Kids loved the property and bunk room. Parents loved the two king beds, sauna and peaceful atmosphere. Kitchen was very well-equipped! Would love to stay again! Thank you!

Beautiful place. My wife and I had a wonderful time. Great place to escape the crowds. The lodge has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. So quiet you can hear the water flowing from the dam in town. Location is perfect for the area.

We had an amazing time at this log cabin home. It was our first time in Lake Placid, and while we loved exploring the beautiful area, our favorite part of the trip was this house! The house itself is beautiful and unique and very well-appointed. The kitchen had literally everything we needed. The bunk room was perfect for the 6 cousins to bond. The deck, yard, and firepit were perfect for relaxing family time. And coming out in the morning before the rest of the family was up- that was pure serenity. Thank you to the wonderful and responsive hosts for giving our family precious time together in your gorgeous getaway!

Outstanding

We had an outstanding time at this wonderful Cabin. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the location was perfect to Lake Placid. The Cabin and the grounds were beautiful with plenty to do. We enjoyed the nightly fires at the firepit and the kids really enjoyed cliff diving which was maybe 3 miles down the road. We will definitely look to stay here again next summer!!

Beautiful lodge

We loved this house! Absolutely beautiful inside and out. The location was great - about 20-30 min from everything we wanted to do including lake Placid, hiking trails, fishing. Unfortunately, the HOA trail near the property has not been well maintained but we hiked multiple locations nearby. The property location is just wonderful - secluded, quiet. The fire pit was great at night. The only issue we had was with the bunk room. We had our three 18 year olds who each wanted their own room. The one who drew the short straw and was given the bunk room said the mattresses were not comfortable and slept on the basement couch most nights. The other bedrooms were super comfy and I understand that this room is where most people would sleep a bunch of kids but for a group of adults the bunk beds were not great. The multiple lining spaces were great as my teens could play Xbox or watch a movie in the basement. The kitchen was huge and well equipped with basic spices, plastic wrap, paper towels, etc. We cooked at home most nights and the cookware was plentiful, albeit a little old. Plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs - really nothing was lacking. We used the grill most nights. A note on the food here-it’s not great and expensive. Lisa Gs and Emma’s Creamery in Lake Placid are fantastic! Rudy’s Scar bar and Big Slide came recommended by a local. The burgers were good in both places but everything else was just okay. Bring food and eat in! Price chopper has good prices on groceries!

This house is amazing inside and out. It’s nestled in the woods for privacy and great views. The accommodations are great, especially for families, with a variety of games and fun activities. It’s in perfect location for skiing at whiteface and not far from Lake Placid. We loved our stay!!

Whiteface Pine Lodge - EXCELLENT!

We had an incredible time at Whiteface Pine Lodge. We have been doing this ski trip every year for the past 12 yrs & have rented different houses but this is by far one of our favorite homes we’ve stayed at. A true log cabin house! This house is beautiful, so warm & cozy, and it had everything you could ask for. We are a family of 10 (3 generations incl 5 teens). We happened to pick the coldest wknd in February to come up to Lake Placid, it was frigid! The wood-burning fireplace couldn’t have been so perfect. It kept us extra warm & the radiant floor heat is a big PLUS! The main floor had a great size kitchen w/ all the amenities. All the bdrms are very roomy. The bunk room where all our teens stayed was perfect & the loft area was a great place for them to hang out. The 2nd floor also has an outdoor balcony overlooking the mountain, so pretty! It had plenty of space for everyone. The mudroom was so important esp for this time of the year. Whiteface Mountain is 10 mins away & downtown Lake Placid is about 20 mins. From the very start, our great hosts were very accommodating, helpful, & always available (via email/text) to answer any questions we have. If we decided to come back up to Lake Placid again, we will absolutely stay at Whiteface Pine Lodge. Thank you, Angela & Joakim, for hosting our family & for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We had a fantastic time & we certainly made some amazing memories that will last a lifetime.

Our stay at the White Pine lodge was perfect. Everything was clean and orderly. It was close to everything we wanted to do. My family had a great time and didn’t have to worry about anything. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend time in the Lake Placid area.

Gorgeous Log Cabin in Amazing Setting

We had a fabulous stay at Angela and Joakim’s spectacular log cabin. The cabin is extremely clean and new. The logs are remarkably large, and rarely are you able to find a structure like this in the northeast. It is rustic elegance at its best. The architecture is stunning and I was thrilled for the opportunity to stay in such an amazing and unique home. The kitchen is awesome and well-appointed. My husband and I loved it more than our kitchen at home and are planning a design of our own kitchen based on this. The bedrooms were all super comfortable and our kids were so excited to stay in the huge bunk bed bedroom! The grounds are immaculate and when you wake up, make you feel like you could be in the mountains in Switzerland. It is truly a breathtaking property. We enjoyed taking a short 3 minute walk down the road to a protected and undiscovered fishing area of the Au Sable River. We also loved grabbing lunch at the Wilmington Market, just 5 min drive away. It’s a small market but a hidden gem- they have a sandwich counter and make delicious made-to-order sandwiches. And of course, they are very close drive to the ski resort at Whiteface Mountain. The highlight of our trip was river rafting down the Hudson with Adirondack River Outfitters. There are many river rafting companies, but this is one of the largest, and very well-run. We had a super fun time with our kids, ages 7 and 8, splashing and paddling through the white waters. We plan to make this an annual trip. If you are looking for a home to stay at in the Lake Placid/Whiteface area, look no further!! You will be so happy with your choice. Angela and Joakim are delightful hosts, and I couldn’t recommend their home more highly!!

Perfect setting to a Beautiful Vacation

The house is gorgeous and equipped with everything you will need to enjoy a Beautiful Vacation in the Adirondacks. We had 13 Friends and Family that stayed here and we made some wonderful memories. The homeowners are so nice and make it very easy for check in. The beds are super comfortable and the scenery is wonderful. We enjoyed nights on the deck observing the moon and stars and having campfires and smores. Plenty of hiking, biking and sightseeing around to keep you busy. Wonderful place to visit. Amazing

We had a wonderful time. House is beautiful and spacious, fits 12 of us comfortably. Kitchen was so big, and we had such a great time cooking, eating, drinking and laughing together. Watching milky-way in the backyard at night was dreaming. We saw shooting stars !!! House location is perfect, just couple miles away from Whiteface mountain. 20 minutes away from mirror lake.
