Great hotel. Staff all lovely. Great cocktail Bar overlooking the lake which also does food. On site restaurant mizumi is excellent. Great atmosphere. It was nice to have an evening where we didn’t need to leave the hotel. The only points for improvement would be the bathroom could do with modernising and having a walk in shower and the superior room we had could have done with a set of drawers as we felt this was lacking. That being said we would definitely book again. We had a great visit

The place is absolutley perfect just one thing let it down and that was the bathroom!!! very disappointing as we’d stayed at 2 hotels prior and the bathrooms had walk in showers, shame as that would of made the hotel 100% will return in the hope there’s a walk in shower

Lovely stay as usual. Love The Lakes hotel. Wonderful food and service. Gorgeous room and hot tub. Sadly the bed needed replacing- room138 and could feel the springs of the mattress- neither of us slept well.

Anniversary Break

We had an amazing time at The Lakes Hotel and Spa. The service from Patrick when we first arrived and from Benn when we visited the restaurants was exceptional. We will definitely book again.

Amazing Stay !

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff here really go out of their way to make you feel special. Special mention to the concierge who showed us round the hotel who made us chuckle with his witty comments and the lady on reception who checked us in with a glass of Prosecco . The man who greets you in the car park was lovely, and guided us to a parking spot. He even knew our name! We had a reservation at the hotel restaurant, Mizumi as it was my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent I would definitely recommend it . The decor is outstanding . The spa is great for a few hours of relaxation . Nothing better than drinking a G&T in a jacuzzi. Thankyou, for a wonderful stay we will definitely return.

A really lovely weekend at the Lakes Hotel and Spa. The Windermere Suite was amazing. Only areas of attention was no water freely available, had to queue at the bar for a glass of water so one day I was waiting 15 mins for a glass of water. I’ve never been to a spa that doesn’t have water jugs available on the side. Also the spa area got busy and a few more hooks would lead to less people using up the chairs to put their towels and robes on. A separate relaxation room for reading and lounging would also improve the spa experience. Food, drinks and general hospitality were spot on.
