Non smoking residence. Pet friendly. Beautiful, modern 2 bed bungalow with 100 foot mooring, on the banks of the River Thames. Hot Tub, Sauna, Wi-Fi. 1/2 mile to wakeboarding water park www. Liquidleisure.com 4 miles to Lego-land, Windsor and Eton, 5 miles Thorpe Park, London Eye and Westminster 45 mins by car (18 miles), or hop on the train, walk to Sunnymeads Station. 45mi uses into centre of London. (Waterloo) or 10 minutes to Windsor and Eton.
Hot tub and Sauna in garden.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
Large Bedroom with King size bed, sleeps 2 adults.
Smaller 2nd bedroom has a sofabed that sleeps 2, (it's a 4'6" wide sofabed), similar to a small double bed, suitable for children.
There is also a sofabed in the lounge sleeps 2, ( again this folds out to be 4'6" wide).
Ideally, for a really good holiday, the house sleeps 4 comfortably. If you are going to be using it mainly as a base to travel and visit tourist hot spots, then 6 might be okay. But if you bring 6 massive suitcases and you have the sofabeds folded out, you're going to be tripping over each other, remember thete are only 2 wardrobes, so travel light.
This is suited to Mum, Dad and 2-4 children.
During your stay at this holiday home, you're just a quick walk from Thames River. Enjoy features like 1 hot tub. The holiday home offers free WiFi and a kitchen.
  • The holiday home offers a kitchen, a washing machine and a patio

  • On-site recreation includes a sauna
  • Steps from Thames River and 8 minutes by car from Windsor Castle

Just what the doctor ordered
The owners communication was fantastic from start to finish and their hospitality superb. The property is absolutely as described and the location is fantastic. It’s a very quirky property with lots to explore inside and outside. We spent lots of time in the hot-tub looking out at the river and enjoying a glass of wine or two. The planes and trains - did not affect either our sleep or enjoyment of the stay so please don’t be put off by the proximity to the line or being on a flight path. As with several other reviews though, if you’re expecting it to be immaculate you’ll be disappointed- but if like us with a dog and children you’ll be more than happy!!

Music Memorabilia, quirky and Unique
Arrived with 🎶🎶🎶 of an era we both appreciate… music memorabilia all around the house… very unique couple who own the home. Attention to detail with their generous gifts of food & drink. Relaxing views of the river and wildlife. Location is very good; train station nearby to get into Windsor which was ideal for us to leave the car and not stress about car parks etc. Windsor Castle is a must see, beautiful…Enjoyed the long walk of the park where we seen plenty of deer and Red Kites. Had an opportunity to be both asked to be one of the 21 salute to light the small canons for King Charles birthday.. very honoured. Walked to Eton to see the famous buildings. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Windsor is a lovely place to visit and if we came again we would stay in the same place.

4 days in Wraysbury
We had a 3 night stay in the property on the banks of the Thames. The place was very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable break. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic and the music items in the house were great, I loved the digital grand piano and retro Jukebox. It was a good base to explore local places including Windsor, Henley and Marlow. The rock and punk memorabilia was very interesting. The access is very tight to manoeuvre into and the constant noise e from planes taking off or landing at Heathrow ay be off putting for some but we got used to it. The hosts left us some nice welcome treats and overall a very pleasant break

Amazing location
The accommodation was in a fantastic location to visit Legoland and other places nearby. The owners were so kind leaving us some choccies and Prosecco. The jukebox was cool and my son absolutely loved playing the piano. Sitting on the riverside on a night watching the parakeets was unforgettable. Lively stay and would recommend.

Pleasantly quirky and unique
The location is ideal once you got used to the noise of the planes and trains. On the first night the planes flew directly over the house every couple of minutes so we were a little worried but on all the subsequent days the flight path changed so was a big improvement We had great weather so really enjoyed eating outside by the river and dips in the hot tub. Being near the train station was useful on the day we were without a car. The ‘treats’ left by the owner was a real surprise and much appreciated. The accommodation is well supplied with kitchen equipment towels etc. we loved the eclectic decor esp the juke box The place could do with a bit of tlc in the garden lots of weeds etc. the house wasn’t spotless but all the main areas were clean and tidy. With all that decor I can imagine it would be a full time job keeping on top of the dust and cobwebs Communication from Sharon and Andy was first class

Excellent location, let down by property condition.
Our first impression was what a quirky house full of music memorabilia. There was a lovely touch of Prosecco, chocolates and cake to welcome us. On closer inspection the property was dirty, desperate for a deep clean, and the furniture was worn and stained. The constant noise of trains and low flying planes day and night was dreadful. We left a day early and booked into a Hotel.

Some fantastic touches, great property but not clean enough at all.
Fantastic location, very private and directly on the river. Very generous welcome wine and chocolates, little touches like Prosecco glasses in the fridge etc. but the property desperately needs some tlc and a deep clean. Basic things like under beds and skirting boards were not cleaned at all…the dust was so thick. we had to hoover above the bed to get rid of cobwebs before sleep and we did a deep clean of the dining pod to use… BUT the hot tub and sauna were spotless so that’s good and the bedding and towels were clean. Very quirky place with lots of effort and great potential… but would prefer to pay more for the stay and them have professional cleaners come in. If you are happy to get the hoover out yourself and clean some things before you settle down for your stay then I’d definitely recommend.

A mixed bag
The location of this property was exactly what we wanted. On the Thames, lots of wildlife and less then 30 minutes drive to Legoland, Chessington & Thorpe park. In the kitchen you’ll find all the equipment you’ll need. The owner left us several bottles of wine & some chocolates which were well received. There is a karaoke machine & piano for entertainment. The hot tub was a good size and would comfortably fit 4 people. It’s just frustrating then the owner specifies that 36 degrees is hot enough and you are not allowed to increase the heat! Unfortunately the cleanliness of the property really let it down. It was more than just a few cobwebs. There was a long term build up of dust under the bed, and when we moved the juke box to switch the light off there was more cobwebs, dead insects & a lot more old dust!! There was dirt build up in the shower. And the skirting board under the glass table in the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The kitchen cupboard doors had old food on them externally and there were lots of grease marks/streaks internally. Every piece of equipment we needed to use had to be washed first. This is really sad because it’s such a beautiful place to stay and if it was cleaner we would be back.

Stunning place to stay
It is a very tight lane you arrive on, best if travelling together one gets out and walks to open gate. The views are to die for! Property itself is quirky, full of memorabilia. Msin bedroom is a good size, bathroom has separate shower, sofa bed would be a squeeze for two but worked for me (curtain needed on inside of that door for privacy) Hot tub was great, lots of clear information left by owners We travelled everywhere by train, station is a 10 minute walk A very relaxing place to spend a few days. High end it is not but that just adds to the charm Didnt need to put TV on as there is so much nature to watch

We came home within an hour of arriving. The place was grubby, run down and the garden was dangerous, sheer drop from garden down to concrete path by Thames. This place was not suitable for dogs let alone anyone taking children. The interior of the property was neglected and dirty. We contacted the host but have been blanked. Also contacted yourselves and again have been blanked. We requested you give us our money back. This is the first time in years of holidays we have so badly disappointed. This place is not fit for purpose and fails to ensure the safety of guests.

Cosy, welcoming and quirky
The bungalow was spacious and comfortable, well equipped and warmed. We loved the river views, hot tub, juke box and various regalia on the walls and dotted around. The hosts were very generous in providing several bottles of Cava, chocolates and fancy cakes. With Sky tv and sports it was like home from home.

We stayed here for 5 days the location is very quiet with locked gates for more privacy. The host was very informative and left extra touches for kids and adults. Not far from Legoland and Thorpe park so if you've got a Merlin card then don't hesitate to book this gem with hot tub and sauna with loads of quirky items in the house ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Riverside Retreat
We booked this place because it looked and sounded nice. A place on the river in an area that I knew sounded like just the place for our 2nd honeymoon visiting from the States. I'm from around Ashford and Staines area so I knew Wraysbury would be a good spot. For some people, being literally right next to the river would be a bit of a turn off. There would be an abundance of creepy crawlie spiders and bugs. To be honest, there weren't as many as I thought there would be and what there was didn't bother my wife or myself. The parking is a bit tight. When they say you are next to the river, they mean RIGHT next to the river! I would say, if you rent a vehicle, go for smaller one. We had an MG ZS which is a small to mid size compact SUV. It was plenty big enough and I think anything bigger would have had problems parking. The property is homely. There are all the conveniences you would need. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, cooker, kettle, There's a good tv with lots to watch for the rainy, or let's just stay in, days (or evenings). There had been some storm damage that we were warned of. Mother nature is definitely something that the owners can't be berated for! The owners are very communicative. Any questions you have, they will answer. The property is next to a railway line and under Heathrow flight paths, but you'd be surprised how fast you get used to them. Don't be put off by them. I could write more positive words but I'm limited on here.

Gorgeous setting!
Absolutely stunning location. As previous reviews have mentionned plenty of cobwebs but we gave it a good hoover when we arrived! Communication with Sharon was amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better host. Left us goodies in the fridge and a chilled bottle of cava. We stayed here to visit legoland and didn’t take long to get there at all. We all loved singing on the karaoke and having a little play on the guitars, my little boy especially loved the piano and asking Alexa to play his favourite songs! The hot tub was amazing, we used it every day. The bathroom did have bad damp, the smell was really strong and did make both myself and my little boy quite poorly, but I know they are having a new roof fitted next month so hopefully this will solve the damp issue! I would definitely return once the damp has been fixed. Perfect location for legoland, we visited the Perseverance pub (great food!) and 2 different harvesters. Co-op nearby also to get your shopping. We were visited by lots of ducks (which my little boy enjoyed feeding on the doorstep!) As previous comments have said yes there’s lots of trains and planes but you soon get used to it, and didn’t keep us up at night. Overall a great property (apart from the damp which is soon to be fixed!)
