I did like that the heating/cooling unit responded to the temperature setting. I like to sleep in cool temperatures. The unit did not make disturbing noises. Parking is a little tough going up and down the hill but managable. Over all very good.

The hot tub was absolutely filthy. There was slime and scum around the edge as if it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. After we went in the hot tub anyways because we desperately needed it, we spoke to the front desk and they assured me that it was drained and cleaned the day before. Having been a hot tub owner, I know this is absolutely not true and the way it was handled in a customer service manner was absolutely unacceptable. I showed them pictures of the scum around the edge and they assured me it would be clean the next day. That was of no use to us because we were checking out the next morning and knew we wouldn't have time to use it Additionally, the food at breakfast wasn't great, but the way it made us all feel afterwards? Was even worse. If I stay there again I would not eat the food. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, which was also important. We were really happy with that!

This was the cleanest property we visited out of 5 different hotels over the 2 weeks of holidays. Rooms have been updated. Best breakfast we have had in a hotel stay. Attendant keep everything fresh and hot. Would definitely stay here next year in our way through Winnipeg...
