Overall the room was amazing. It’s asking for our room to be clean was poorly serviced. Had to phone twice and we were gone all day thinking we were going to a clean room. Once came, cleaning lady with attitude ask us to leave if we want our room clean. We were gone all day, and to leave again when we were tired. Not impressed at all

The hotel met our needs of providing an affordable spot to spend the night before flying out the next morning. However the hotel rooms could use some TLC. Bathroom wall had what looked like a greasy hand print on the wall and the door to the room looked like it wouldn’t take much to get it opened if it weren’t securely locked from inside. Overall the rooms were dark and dingy. One elevator required a room key to get up to the rooms while the other one didn’t, kind of defeats the purpose. Shuttle to and from the airport was convenient.

We chose the Sandman because of its proximity the car dealership where our car was being serviced. This hotel is very helpful and accommodating to some of the more unusual requests made of it. It’s close to the airport so is convenient for that but often has no vacancy for that reason. It’s clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable. Only one of the two elevators requires a keycard to access guest areas which lowers the guest security. It would be nice to have that option working in both elevators rather than just one. There are two restaurants on the property so no difficulty finding a meal. Denny’s is open 24 hours daily as well. Room service is offered but I didn’t use that service.

It was ok. The hotel could use a refresher, being somewhat outdated. The parking was tight and some maintenance had to be done in our room while there. There was some old food near baseboard heater not cleaned up. The hot tub jets did not work properly. For the night, it served our purpose. Not worth the money ,though.

Avoid this sandman!
The hotel used to be nice but seems like it has went down hill fast! The lobby is nice but deceiving. The elevator had garbage all over it and smelled like pee off the elevator there was broken glass down the hall, plungers in the hall, and smelled like weed. The room was 13° in it with the AC still going, holes in the walls, holes from where pictures used to hang, the floor was hardwood and water damaged so bad it was buckling everywhere. The suite had a jucuzzi tub in it that had broken tiles around it, missing grout, and moisture damage all over the roof above it. Its clear this hotel hasnt been managed or maintained properly in quite some time. I travel a lot for work, and this is the worst sandman i have ever stayed in. The whole place was just disguisting and I could tell by the looks on other faces we weren't the only ones that had problems here.
