Modest accomodation in a good location. Car park (additional cost!) DOES NOT accommodate tall vehicles. Our unmodified 4WD was too tall and street parking was full of beachgoers. Shower is crammed into corner of cubicle. Wall of bedroom had visible cracks. ‘Complimentary’ breakfast was pleasing and staff were openly pleasant.

This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel over a period of years - the location is excellent as regards proximity to the beach, the many dining options close by as well as a very convenient free bus that takes you around Wollongong. However, for a four star hotel, I feel its' standard has slipped considerably this visit. Upon arrival, the room had clearly not been vacuumed properly, with remnants of snacks from the previous guests in multiple areas of the room. It took two complaints and four days for the room to be properly vacuumed! Also, I experienced one incident of staff going into my personal belongings and removing a couple of items (food related)! I also miss some of the complimentary items that were provided in the past, for example no vanity packs in the bathroom, no laundry bag or slippers.

I was very happy with this facility, however, my joy was ruined because there were so many people from other windows throwing food at the birds. I practically could not use my 'ocean view' balcony because it was in the path of tens of seaguls, cockatoos, pigeons and what not. I raised it with the hotel staff who acknowledged that this was an issue they were trying to deal with. I literally started talking to people to stop throwing their left overs around as some of the crumbs were landing on balconies and the bird feathers and constant flights and encroachment on balconies looking for food made it worse. Practically i wasn't able to quietly and peacefully enjoy the balcony that i paid for. It dwarfs all the other good things that can be said about this property, unfortunately.

Fantastic location, walking distance to the beach, harbour, reserves and playgrounds. The room was spotless with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was a great size however could do with some more towel hangers.

Overall stay was good. Great location. Room was lovely and view from balcony was great. Bed was a bit too soft. Lobby, bar and restaurant areas were nicely kitted out. Pool was very small. Extra charge for parking was a bit rich given price of room.

It was a quick stay, just an overnight so it was great. I just bought the corridor carpet on level 10 was a bit musty and tired.Down stairs looked great, the room was nice and comfortable. Pepes was fun with nice food and a great location. We had fun.
