Overall good 👍 excellent nights sleep. Not enamoured with the phone system we had difficulty contacting the hotel, too many hoops to jump through. Bathroom although looks good had a few issues eg, toilet flush coming off the wall and towel holder also loose, however the shower was great but not easy to adjust.

For the price this was a reasonable stay. It could be so much better if there was a real deep clean of the spa and changing room areas. Breakfast was very good service and the family rooms were really spacious It could be a great property just need a very deep clean Had an incredible massage from kieron thank you

Was really convenient for visiting Snape Maltings for an evening concert. Room overlooking the golf course was clean and quiet, plenty of parking on site, would certainly use as a base for visiting an outstandingly beautiful are of Suffolk again in the near future.

Bad - swimming pool was shut during our entire stay, water supply in room went out for 10mins one night literally mid shower, had to return dinner one night as way over cooked, kids 4th bed was really uncomfortable with very thin mattress and springs coming through, room was really hot even with heating off so had to have windows open but car park starts getting busy from 6:30 with golfers arriving so always woken up early, cream tea and chips at lunch took nearly 40mins to be served when not particularly busy. Good - staff very friendly and tried their best given circumstances.

Check in queue was twenty minutes. Felt sorry for the receptionist who was kind and helpful (and diplomatic) but rushed off her feet. Friday afternoon check in at a resort hotel needs more than one person.

Property is tired looking. Staff seem tired too. Bedroom was well presented although only one pillow on the bed and dirty glasses. Communal areas felt a bit like a holiday camp. Website pictures felt misleading. Signage and carpets quite dated. Spa area was ok, paid extra to get into the nicer bit, although this wasn’t initially offered to us so we felt like the staff missed out on upselling. Breakfast was good.

We thought the staff were excellent. Had a couple of issues with the kitchen. Overcooked meat and our afternoon tea was half an hour late but Nikki the manger was amazing and an absolute asset to the resort.
