Lovely room - plenty of space for the 3 adults & very clean. Staff really helpful. Rooms had tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer, iron etc provided. Breakfast was very good - so I'm told by the other two. Gardens lovely.

Great hotel perfect for North Wales

Pros: Everything
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Perfect village location plenty of walks in and around. North Wales coast and countryside just around the corner.
Excellent one night stay. We keep returning to this hotel and it just seems to get better every time. We had an executive double room in the old part of the hotel. The bathroom was massive and nicely fitted . We ate in the restruant, really good value two free drinks and 10% off the food bill .Breakfast very good selection of hot and cold food very tasty .

Nice hotel

Staff brilliant. Only negative breakfast Friday and Sat no fruit and long wait for all cooked items. Seemed as though the kitchen could not cope with amount of guests wanting food. Also Sunday evening meal waiting staff seemed very embarrassed when explaining the lack of different items for the 4th time.

Very good value for money.

Pros: Locality and comfort.
Cons: Sockets in the room, only two British standard sockets, the rest required an adaptor. Shower could have been higher and was not very powerful.
Location: Ideally situated for a visit to Chester Zooand area. Golden Lion Pub just down the road very welcoming and good food.
One night stay after visit to Chester Zoo. Lovely room, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast.
