Absolutely terrible. Very bad part of town, mold in bathrooms, parking lot full of people who are not motel guests. Wouldn't recommend

Front desk kept hunting up on me. I spent over 45 mins trying to get through. My room had no tv when I arrived around 11pm. I wanted to relax instead I spent so much time trying to get through and finally had to have my room changed but that tv didn’t work. So frustrating.

I like the night front desk worked. He is a very good worker & knows how to do his job right. He Is not dishonest. Plus he has very good customer service skills.

Someone was shot and killed during my stay. The advertising for this hotel is way off. I was scared to go to my car with people using drugs everywhere in the parking lot in the wide open.

The room had cockroaches and smelled like raid, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, and a spot that was cracking open.tons of homeless people everywhere, garbage at the back of the property, one of the maids was passed out in her car, people being loud until all hours of the night. It was disgusting, when i told the front desk agent she was indifferent. I will never stay at Red Lion again.

Clearly a motel that now caters to the houseless and those involved in drugs and prostitution....strong police presence. Mattresses and discarded clothing all around just off the property...

No one at the desk when I tried to check in. After about 40 minutes, I was pulling out to find somewhere else to stay. Saw someone behind the desk moving mentarily. Pulled back in. It was woman who was washing linens. She was able to get me a key. She did well. At checkout time, there was still no one at desk. Dropped card key and left.

It was nice to always have someone at the front desk, something that has been a rarity during me recent hotel visits, including one Yakima. They always had fresh coffee on hand, too. The room had a bit of a musty smell. The location was one of the most rundown areas in Yakima. I would be willing to stay there again. The check in desk clerk knew the area well enough to give me accurate directions for where I needed to go on the following day.

The place looked nothing like how the pictures looked, there was a lot of homeless and the smell of marijuana inside and outside, the place looked so broken and the inside all the sheets were dirty, everything looked dirty. We didn’t feel safe there with our family and leaving our car there would’ve probably gotten stolen or broken into. We left and stayed somewhere else

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is a pay by the hour, residential hotel and hotel. There were gangs right outside with tons of homeless in the parking lot. We literally felt so unsafe we just ate the money and drove away. It was horrific.

Do not book, it’s one step up from a brothel.
This place should not be on hotels.com. The pictures shown are NOT how this place looks. The room was shabby, stains everywhere. My room overlooked an alleyway so I couldn’t even open my curtains. The carpark had a lot of people hanging around and people who seemed to be sleeping in their cars. The saving grace was that a doorman was around at night. When presumably a ‘ lady of the night ’ (I’ve been made to change some words to get the review through) that I encountered on the way out of the place on the way to my car asked me why I was there and told me that I was ‘at the gateway to help’ (remove the letter p from that and add another l) the morning I left, it made me realise I could not have stayed anywhere much worse. Do the right thing and stop advertising this hotel, I place a lot of faith in your site and this has made me doubt it. There are other reviews saying similar but less graphic than this which sadly I did not check before booking, at the time I was in a hurry and had very little internet access, so I blame myself for that. If anyone wants any more info than this please feel free to reach out.
