I usually pick hotels that have TVs and microwave in the rooms and these rooms did not have those the rooms were smaller than a normal hotel room and I have a handicap relative and I had requested a ground floor unit or a unit that has a floor that has an elevator and they give us the second floor with no elevator so we had to use the stairs With our luggage and everything. I understand. It’s a skiing lodge more than anything and I can understand why there’s not much there the restaurant that’s on site I called and they said I didn’t need a reservation and when I showed up there 10 minutes later, they said there’s a big group coming in and we have to wait so that was disappointing and also the menu was very limited and very expensive. They did have a breakfast buffet in the morning, which was priced fair and was good.

No internet except for at office, so office was very busy. Bathroom was small. Shuttle wasn’t running.

The hotel's only redeeming feature is its location in Grant Village, in the center of Yellowstone National Park. There's no wifi, the room was dirty, we didn't have a cup of coffee (but 8 glasses!), the shower is tiny and the water doesn't stay hot. When we arrived, the fridge was unplugged, and there was a cream cheese lying around in it... plus, they leave a doggie for sale ($20)... just to put pressure on the poor parents whose child sees the doggie... the adjacent restaurant is really bad too, and bad service... if only the price had been a bargain, but no: it's overpriced for the quality.

We did not enjoy our stay in Grant Village. The bed is uncomfortable and there were not enough blankets to keep us warm. It was 39 degrees outside and they just had the normal 2 sheets and a fleece blanket on the bed. But the worst part was that there was no hot water. We checked in late after a long day of hiking and all we wanted was the shower and go to bed… but the water wouldn’t get above room temperature. Lastly, the walls and floors are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors conversations clearly enough to chime in if I wanted.

Staying in the park is nice, but for the price being charged, they could at least have someone come into the room and remove garbage and replace towels

Grant Village is right at the center of the park, easy to park and convenient to explore the park. Hotel is some steps away from the lake so you can enjoy morning and sunset beautifully. There is no Wi-Fi or even phone signal for T-Mobile which we found annoying at first but loved it later as we could enjoy the park more rather than opened the phone all the time. As there is no Wi-Fi, it is better that you plan your trip in advance. There is no room service every day though we stayed for 4 nights. Restaurants are regularly booked but the service is quick. The food is varied and friendly staff.

Just be aware that you will not find parking in the evening at your lodge. Take a look on Google maps at the parking lot. Half is taken up by bus lanes and stripped lines and then a lot of handicapped parking. I know we need some but half the parking lot was unusable. I called just to make em aware of the situation and the lady had clearly heard it before and told me to park down the street at another lodge. Why not assign at least 1 parking spot to each room? The room was as expected. Pretty bad. The restaurants were above average. The only wifi is in the main office and there were 30 people trying to use it so we couldn't get messages out. Creaky floors.

Great to wake up & start day within the park.
You’re paying here for the privilege and convenience of staying within the park. That being said I was fine with no TV and no WiFi or internet access. The only thing I’d say is to do some research ahead of time for your plans given the only internet access is in the registration building a short drive away.

Since internet connectivity inside the park was spotty, we wanted a working landline to check on family. The landline in the room was not working, and despite requests the management was rather unconcerned about it. It was only pretty late at night that they offered us an alternate room with a working landline.

Convenient housing, but that is it. Food service was very substandard. Limited menu, poor preparation, wait staff over-worked. How do you screw up an order for two eggs over easy? Who ever heard of doing a seafood oriented menu in for a dinning service in NW Wyoming, hundreds if not a thousand miles from any seafood purveyor, with the exception of local trout. The systems in place to handle reservations and walk-ins is a complete failure. There is a captive customer base, and the company with the food concession seemed to take advantage of that fact, with there being no competition. We drove one night 30 miles to Flagg Ranch to get a decent meal, because what was available at Grant Village was so poor.

The hotel was clean, but lack of amenities around the hotel due to end of season. No internet. Phone signal is weak inside the park, so having the internet at hotel would have been nice. Looks like they turned it off already even though they are still booking rooms

Somewhat away from the crowds its a facility with gorgeous views of the lake. The dining room is beautiful but unfortunately the food - as with all the food in the park - is mediocre at best.

Liked the proximity to Lake Yellowstone (it was beautiful!) and the quiet lodges. Dining Room and Lake House were nice options for breakfast and dinner (and Birthday celebration), the food selections were good and service was excellent.
