Smelly sheets ruin our stay
Due to a last minute cancellation we found this as it was close, The staff was courteous. However the sheets smelled of smoke. The hot water faucet in the shower was difficult to work. Things that should not be issues.

I have stayed in Jambuwuluk Malioboro multiple times and this is by far one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very clean, with professional, helpful and friendly staff. Plus the location is very close to the city centre and amenities. I particularly like the cleanliness of the rooms and the modern quality of the hotel. Definitely am going to come back again the next time I'm in Yogyakarta!

The hotel has welcoming vibes. Staff (front desk, restaurant, room service) were polite and approachable. I accidentally left my key card and credit card on the restaurant table during breakfast. Kudos to the team at Jambuluwuk for being so attentive, I returned to the hotel at night after a day of activities to find my cards deposited at the front desk. Overall the hotel is great and I would recommend travellers to stay here! If I have to include something to be improved for the hotel, it would be their room features (e.g. furniture, television, table, wash area are slightly dated).

This was a 5 star hotel, felt safe and well taken cared of, since my stay was when the Coronavirus outbreak the hotel took measures to ensure our safety by screening people at entrance and having sanitizer everywhere, I will for sure stay there on my next visit

The hotel staff were fantastic; everyone from the reception, bell boys and restaurant staff were great. However, the hotel is in need of a refurbishment/upgrade to be a 5 star hotel. All in all, I enjoyed my time there.

Decent service but old and not so clean room
The room is very spacious. However not very clean. And the rooms are a little too old. I booked 5 rooms, two of it has issues with the toilets and shower room. Yet, the service is good and bad. Good: One of the room has left item in room when check out. The hotel texted me immediately and allowed me to send our driver back to pick up from hotel and send it back to airport before we fly off. Bad: we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food were served very slowly. In fact, one of my friends steak was only served after 1.5hours. The other friend waited for an hour for her food. We had to stay in the restaurant for 2-2.5hr to wait for everyone’s food to be served and finished. And no sincere apology and service recovery done after feedback. Can be improved in this area
