Meh.
I’ll start by saying I booked the cheapest room I could find. Did I have hot water, clean towels, a microwave and a fridge? Yes! Did I also have a used washcloth left in the shower, grime, sticky floors, a poopy toilet bowl and a courtyard full of debris? Yes! The room smelled so strongly of cheap cleaner that I slept with the window open on a cold November night just so I could breathe. It’s obvious that they clean because I can smell overwhelming cleaner, but the place was super grimy. The halls were cluttered with decommissioned furniture, vacuum cleaners, etc. like. . . . these items weren’t in use, they were just chillin in walkways. Bizarre! I am certain the hotel will copy and paste me a generic response, and that’s ok! I still say book the place. It’s got a bed. It’s got hot water. It’s a place to charge your phone. Put the money you save into your gas fund and get back on the road in the morning.

I'm not sure I've felt this uncomfortable, but I was exhausted so I kept the reservation. They are not caring for this hotel. I've stayed at dozens of Motel 6s, and found them to be clean, safe and reliable. That was not the case this time.

The outside of the property looked very bad and there was garbage everywhere. Staff seemed like we were really inconveniencing them by checking in and out. The room seemed clean, but the sheets had stains which was gross to see. The nighstand was missing a leg and there was ripped up floorboards in the bathroom. We payed for a room with a queen size bed but it was definitely smaller than that. If we were staying there for more than just one night I would have wanted a refund and to leave and find a different motel. But we just needed somewhere to sleep for the night while traveling.

While you can't beat the price, the property is just in quite poor condition. The room did not have any of the cheery colors shown in the photos and, while everything basically worked, everything was in rough shape. The water for the shower was hot with good pressure, though.

The staff were respectful and friendly. The location is very quiet and peaceful, the staff directed me to a nearby restaurant when I asked them and they had great good there. I was also surprised by the rate they charge for their lodging. Very cheap and affordable. I will highly recommend them to any travelers traveling towards that direction or destination.

Upon arrival half of the property looked abandoned. I didn't like the fact the entire place, at least the areas I was in, we're dirty. Ice machine was out of order,which was the least of my worries, however if I was a Budweiser drinker, which I am not, there was a 24 pack sitting next to the ice machine alongside a dirty foul smelling bucket of mop water. There was no covering over the bathroom fan above the toilet that was completely exposed. There was a huge area of the laminate flooring that was popping up which looked like they tried to use double-sided sticky tape to stick it back down which clearly did not work. There was also an employee only door in my room! It was locked however that doesn't mean that whatever or whomever is on the other side couldn't get in. The side door to the building remained open the entire night with people coming and going. So basically being it was right off the interstate it had major drug/human trafficking vibes. Expedia needs to take this off their list

Halls and stairs filthy. Back entry door missing. Any buddy could enter. Deadlock did not work. Rates good but don’t stay there. I will never stay in motel 6 again.

This property doesnt even appear to be open. So run down looking and no upkeep to their grounds around the property. Door to the building was missing. Nothing on the front door said they were open or welcoming. Our AC didnt work either. Id advise not staying here.

The worst motel property in 50 years of traveling
The wife and I have been using Motel 6 for our driving trip from Michigan to California. This property by far is the worst we have ever encountered. Why such a low rating: 1. The exterior door to the parking lot was missing. 2. A tremendous amount of deferred maintenance. 3. I choose pay at hotel during the reservation process; found out the property had already charged for the night prior to check-in. 4. The original room assigned was not cleaned, the bed was unmade and the room door was difficult to open. 5. The next room had no security lock or door closer. 6. The air conditioner was leaking water on the floor. 7. The corner sofa nearly collapsed whe an attempt was made to use it. 8. Towels and cups were missing from the room. 9. The television could not receive a signal. After driving from Laramie WY to York NE on the day of Check-in, we were tired and were expecting room for resting. We spent the night, but will never utilizes this property again. As a matter of fact will most likely not use Motel 6 again.
