Great hotel
What a beautiful hotel. Easy walk from the train station. We were welcomed by the door man upon our arrival. From desk was friendly and helpful. Concierge was always willing to help. The room was so large and beautiful, we almost didn't want to leave. When we did, it was an easy walk to all the sights.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The attention to detail was impeccable and the service from all the staff was top notch. The room was large and comfortable with heated floors being a lovely touch. It was in a perfect location - 5 minutes from the train station and walkable to the great sites of York. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Highly recommend. It was the best place I stayed during my trip to the UK!

Amazing hotel especially the legacy restaurant
Everything about this experience was outstanding. The hotel is very close to the train station and the center of the city. The staff, spa, and room were all incredible. The highlight was dinner in the Legacy restaurant which was an experience of a lifetime. Breakfast the next porning wasn’t too shabby either!

I booked the hotel for my birthday and am pleased I did. The staff were friendly and helpful and the spa was nice although it was smaller than I imagined. The hotel was a five minute walk from the town centre and a further few minutes away from the shambles. The heated floor in the bathroom was lovely and the 1906 bar had a nice relaxing atmosphere too. I will definitely be returning next year to celebrate my anniversary with my partner.

Been greated by the door men/concierge, checking in and been shown to your room was lovely and welcoming. All the staff are friendly and happy to have a conversation. Breakfast is very comprehensive and first class. The rooms are large ,well appointed and the bed very comfortable. Any issues are dealt with immediately to your satisfaction. The spa is just great and everything works properly. We would certainly go again and recommend it to anyone.
