I booked a room for the water slide/pool. But unfortunately the front desk called a day before we left and said the pool is out of order. I couldn’t re-book any where else at the time, non refundable. Would not give me a discount because of third party booking.

Just ok, Yorkton hotels are busy right now with influx of contractors in the area and it shows will the lack of care and staff

The hotel overall is good. My only complaint is that there were kids running up and dow our hallway past 10:30 PM and while I understand perhaps the adults with those kids are responsible and not the hotel, I was surprised to see that the hotel staff could see them and heat them from the lobby and no one came to ask them to keep it down.

The hotel itseld was great. Comfy beds, nice room and breakfast was great. Was quite noisy but there were alot of young hockey children for a tournament so it was understandable. I was disappointed that I had to walk around to the side or front of the building when I had to park in the back to plug my car in at below -30 Celsius. Only doors at side and front of building and it was so cold. It was very icy in parking lot at the back and when dark it wasn't really well lit. I was scared of falling. At the back along the fence where I had to plug in snow wasn't cleared very well by fence or at back of building. You had to tromp through snow to plug your vehicle in. Along fence in the back wasn't lit enough to see to plug in my vehicle. Needed my light on cell phone to see to.plug in vehicle.

Good for Sleep

We were located on the third floor - elevator took quite sometime to reach us. The breakfast area was smaller than expected - enough for under 50 people. Staff were excellent and friendly. We were told at check in we would be able to get a receipt showing the $50 hold was cleared at check out. While that sounded odd we accepted what was said and headed to our room to sleep (arrived at 11ish pm). At checkout the receipt was not available - staff said it wouldn’t be cleared until after the room was cleaned. Reported that employee did not relay that information at check in.
