Beautiful place. Curry Village is located right near all the hiking trails. The tents were very spacious and the heater was nice. Would highly recommend !
It’s just a tent. But big enough for a family of 3-4. If it’s winter season, remember to book one with heater. It gets really cold at night. But heater works well.
Cabin tent was clean and prepared well. Check in was difficult in the dark and clerk assumed I was parked in the street and unattended. My testimony went on deaf earsl90p
The only downside is that no heated rooms have no electrical outlets, and at times, the places to charge the phones were busy or packed, so I couldn't charge as often.
Remember this is camping and not your typical hotel, so be prepared. We were in a heated tent which took a long time to heat up specially since the temperature in the valley was subzero all day. The reception did give us extra wool blankets so no complaints there.
The view from the campsite of the various peaks is what makes the stay worth it. You will 5 min walk from some of the easy to moderate trails, so you can enjoy every moment of your stay.
The restrooms and showers are shared but clean. Food, groceries, souvenirs and even mountain gear can be purchased from the shops on campus for a reasonable price.
