First impression: cute house. There was glass in driveway from garage door damage. You will notice the variety of appliances, nice options. However mostly countertop, leaving no space for meal prep. Potted plants take up the remaining counter space. Due to lack of space, we decided it was worth our while to eat out. Sofa and chairs needed to be cleaned from crumbs/debris on cushions prior to sitting. More plants and furniture limiting use of patio door. Plant droppings on floor as well. Cleaning up after the plants was overlooked in the cleaning process. Cleaning supplies were left out in the common area. We kept stepping on burrs in the carpet, along with wrappers. It was apparent the carpet was not vacuumed prior to our arrival. We were not impressed by being charged a cleaning fee for the condition we walked into. Owner may wish to consider inspecting prior to each rental or hiring a new cleaning crew. Water temp was tepid at best (after letting run for 10+ minutes) Towels, yes. Washcloths, no. No instructions for tv use—some people may not be familiar with streaming apps and how they are accessed—and how to adjust the sound. Oversized furniture in walkway to door to backyard. Overall, way too much furniture for the space. Ability to sleep 2 additional, if you do not mind a Murphy bed in a very cluttered office space. Owner was kind enough to allow early check in, although did not arrive early. Owner did check in on arrival day and throughout stay. It was unclear if owner still lives at property. It looked like items are being stored or using as an office when not rented out. Who is caring for the plants — renters or cleaning crew? It was a very cute house with a lot of potential. Overpriced for what received. We ended up spending more money than if we had stayed at a hotel. Definitely a learning experience and one we will not pursue for future travel.
