Unacceptable - Unclean
I have sent an extensive review to the management team and have requested that they reimburse me due to the dirty conditions. The home is well designed and supplied. That said I also provided pictures of the issues and suggested that the management team go look in person. The cloth dining chairs were significantly soiled and stained and in one case appeared to be blood. Further there was mouse excrement in the master bedroom by the head of the bed. The outdoor furniture was so soiled that it could not be used. Some of the pots and pans were so soiled that they had to be washed prior to use. There were candy wrappers in the sofa and chair as well as large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the dining room. We arrived at 3 and spent about 90 minutes going up and down the stairs to unload our supplies which was challenging for two 80 year olds. Then our children arrived and unpacked. It was about 6pm when these issues were identified. Because we were there to celebrate a birthday and were leaving Sunday morning I did NOT feel like spending time on the phone with the management team as I did not want to move to another location in the night and did not want someone coming over to clean in the evening. There was no way they could clean the dining room chairs as they will need to be replaced. Additionally I personally vacuumed with a vaccum that really wasn't working properly the mouse excrement and cleaned the dirty pots and pans and candy wrappers/cob webs.
