Stayed with our grown children and infant grandson for two nights for a mini vacation in Asheville. Location was perfect for visiting Biltmore and downtown Asheville, and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. About 20 minutes to Biltmore and downtown.
Plenty of parking - we had three cars and it was easy for us to park out of the way so any of us could come and go without the others have to shuffle their cars.
The house is not overly large, but it accommodated six adults and the baby just fine. Having a single bathroom was the biggest challenge, and with very little effort we overcame and adapted! Beds are comfy, bedrooms plenty large, bedding and towels seemed nice and new. Sectional sofa accommodated most of us - dragged a couple of kitchen chairs in for the rest of the crew. And the sofa doubled as a bed for our son.
Kitchen is sufficient. Not extremely well stocked with cooking vessels and utensils. Lacks some good sharp knives and maybe some casserole dishes. Very basic spices in cupboard and not much in the line of foil, wrap or baggies for leftovers. But lots of room for whatever goodies you bring along, and a fair selection of nice cooking pots and pans. We used the outdoor grill one night. Convenient to kitchen and a beautiful view to enjoy while the steaks cooked. Also a very nice fire ring in the yard with plenty of firewood.
We didn’t use the laundry facilities or even check them out so I can’t comment except to say that it’s available.
House is across from the fire station, and on the first evening there was a fire run and we heard some sirens. But just once in the whole time we were there so don’t be intimidated by that. Several choices of grocery stores within a 5-10 minute drive.
Check in and out we’re a breeze. Becky was very quick to answer my messages and very welcoming.
Overall, it was a comfy and cozy stay at a great price point.
Thanks for the stay, Becky!
