The PROS of this place are it's clean, the furnishings are very hip, the beds are comfortable, and the location is perfect for walking downtown Asheville. The CONS are that there are bars/music halls on three sides of the condo (1 across the street, 1 next door, 1 behind) that play very loud music, even on Sundays, until 12-2am. The music is so loud that the walls were vibrating. There are also cars revving their engines up and down the street, and a steady stream of fire engines (fire station is around the corner) at all hours with horns blazing.
If you want to be in a central area and are here to party, this place is great. If you want to go to sleep before midnight, even on a weeknight, or you don't enjoy loud urban noises and the sound of a band in your room until 2am, do not stay here.
A few other notes. We arrived on a hot July afternoon, the a/c was set to 78 degrees. We turned it down to cool and left for dinner, when we got back it was 79 degrees. I turned it down again, and I called the after hours number twice and got no help. The a/c did kick in but very slowly, it read 76 at 1am (I was still up thanks to the noises). I didn't get help until 9am the next day so we had both a noisy and hot night. Also the master bedroom has high windows with no curtains but there are very bright lights on the balconies of the next condo over that shone in the windows all night long. We used our bed pillows to stack in the windows to block the light out.
