We spent four nights here while exploring Mount Ranier NP. It is conveniently located just a few miles from the park entrance - a big plus as we entered the park about five times.
The small town is about 15 minutes away and offers a grocery store, general store (with perhaps more groceries than the grocer), post office, restaurant, Ukrainian cafe & bakery with a nice breakfast, pottery store, and museum.
It rained for about 36 hours, so we spent one day mostly at the house, recuperating from hiking 10 miles daily for several days. The hot tub was inviting, even on a cold rainy day.
The house may be tiny (especially the loft), but is comfortable and well stocked - grill, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, games, TV, DVDs & a comfy reclining sofa.
We would gladly stay again.
