I have stayed a few times at this location when I’m traveling for work and every time people have been super nice however this time I felt like I did something wrong as when I arrived at the location around 7pm the front desk person asked me for my last name and when I answered she said that she was trying to get hold of me for the past 2 days to confirm my arrival time. I told her that I had booked the room around noon of the same day and she act indifferent to that, I didn’t have any cell coverage where I was working so if she called I didn’t see it but anyways I don’t think she had to say something that wasn’t true or apologize when I told her it was impossible she was trying to get hold of me for 2 days. I think that if there’s a rule where you have a specific time your guests must arrive at hotel that should be disclaimer with that information so people don’t have to be available to answer calls when sometimes it’s not possible. Overall she was polite but she came across a bit frustrated with something I didn’t have any control.

Some issues were : 1. The door hinges in the bathroom were slightly uplifted. 2. The security latch on the main door to our room was broken and missing. 3. There were a few other discrepancies hard to remember at this time sorry.

It is on a major roadway so it can be quite noisy. Earplugs did the trick. Other than that for the price and service it was very reasonable.

I got a room with two queen beds, which meant one bed was right in front when you walked into the room and the other bed was in a separate room in the back. Each bed had its own television. The room was very nice and immaculate. The motel is close to downtown and very near to the Astoria Bridge. You could hear the traffic out front, but it wasn’t really a bother. I will definitely stay here again.

Super easy and accessible property to reach coming from Washington that puts you just a few minute walk away from the down town strip Astoria. Get a beautiful view of the Megler bridge from anywhere at the motel.
