Staff was nice but the property was not. The key card mechanism to our room was inoperable. The staff had to assist us in opening our room. There were stains on everything (floor, chairs, towels, etc). Half of the light bulbs were missing from the lamps. Housekeeping did not remove food from refrigerator left from previous guests. There was a half eaten piece of chocolate and an empty bag of chips on the dresser when we checked into our room. We alerted the front desk staff to all the issues, but they were unable to assist with other accommodations due to the property being fully booked for the night.

Did not receive the room we booked. Country Inn said Expedia screwed up. Room smells. Tables dirty. Closer door won't shut. Bathroom exhaust fan covered with dust. One towel has stains.

Needs major updates and cleaning

This was our 2nd stay here, and I should have trusted my gut from my first experience. First let me say that the front desk crew was super friendly, and check in was super easy. The first time we stayed here it was due to being the most affordable during a home football game so we excused some of the things that will cause me to never stay here again. The hotel is in need of major updating. The room was quite dirty. I even wiped down the bathroom walls before I could even go in there. We were out of the hotel more than we were in so I didn’t complain while I was there nor do I think they could have done anything. We stayed 2 nights, and had to ask for clean towels twice. I would usually reuse, but once they touched surfaces I wouldn’t dare. The remotes didn’t work well in the room, and the furniture was filthy….even the lamp shades were stained. I did see quite a few large boxes in the lobby area so maybe there is a renovation on the horizon. My only positive besides the friendly staff are the size of the rooms. They are very roomy.

Couldn't watch the Bulldogs play

Check in was easy and quick. Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. The TV in the living area was very dark/pretty unwatchable. I checked the settings and the brightness was all the way up. This was room 325. We notified the front desk everyday of our stay and was not fixed before we left. Breakfast was good, but there was no fruit or pastry choices.

Stay someplace else til they finish updating

Overall our stay was fine but this hotel needs some work. I wouldn’t recommend staying here til they finish updating it. The certificate in the elevator said it hadn’t been inspected since 2020. We had no issues with it but that doesn’t make you feel safe. Our bathroom sink leaked onto the shelves below it and you could tell it had been happening for some time because the wood was damaged. We put a towel there to soak up the water. Breakfast was fine - hardly anyone there. The worst part was the cockroaches. We found 3 and I’m thinking there were more. We only stayed one night. I told the front desk about the sink and the bugs at checkout.
