First off, I don't have a problem with the listing or the property manager per se. What I will detail are the things that aren't listed that directly relate to this rental and our experience.
*Access: this is a 100+ year old house that has been preserved for the most part. The stairs up and onto the porch are old, narrow, and tall. If you have people up in age or with mobility issues then this is probably not a good location.
*Noise: This is anything but a quiet getaway! There is train noise, and I mean REAL train noise, at least 5 times from 10pm till 6am, then even more after those hours. It is close and it is loud! Traffic noise is also added onto the top of that. Plus, during our stay, the upstairs apartment people were obviously running a marathon back and forth to their toilet pretty much all evening. How did I know it was a toilet? You'll hear that flush down the wall as well.
*Sleeping: Since pretty much none of that happened during our stay, be aware the bed is a stiff Ikea mattress that offers little in the way of comfort unless you like a rock hard bed. I curled up on the couch with 4 pillows and a blanket over my head and managed to get a few zzz's.
Overall, it's an interesting old southern home chopped up into rental units and needs some better care. If you want a quiet hideaway and some calm sounds, look elsewhere. This isn't that.
