Almost perfect

The hotel was beautiful and comfortable with very friendly hotel staff. I only have two small issues. The first night I spent there, there was a fire alarm that made me walk down several stairs with really loud doors that were hard to open. As soon as i got outside, the intercom then said it was safe to go back in. So i had to walk allll the way back with doors that were more difficult to pull. I had already been on my feet all day from work and was very tired, so i felt i couldnt properly relax with my legs and feet being in more pain. My second issue was alot of water flooding from the shower. I had to use multiple towers to clean up the water from the floor

I didnt like that i had to allow the hotel to charge me a $100 hold on my card for "incidentals". I've stayed in better hotels where my debit card was attached to my room in case I had incidentals. I was at a fundraising event at your hotel and the money i was supposed to donate was held by your company. You also need to be a green hotel. If I'm the only one in the room and not staying for a long time, i don't need daily maid service. The sheets were fuzzy and the funiture chipped and old. Parking shouldn't be $16 per day for overnight guests, especially since you leave the gate open at night. $8 is sufficient.

There is some wear and tear that needs to be addressed such as carpeting (rm 501)and a missing door from cabinet that holds the safe (rm 541). The ceiling in the bathroom is a bit worn as well, maybe from moisture, a fan should help with that. Aside from that guest services was extremely accommodating hence the two rooms addressed here. The room change was due to noise only!
