We enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Mike and Dante were so welcoming and answered any questions we had. They are a great way to be greeted upon arrival. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. We enjoyed our welcome drink and sitting in the beautiful courtyard. Thank you for a great stay!!

This property is in a TERRIBLE location. Nothing around it. It's a glorified motel, made to look like an upscale boutique hotel. I was on a business trip and meeting my 17 year old daughter in Atlanta to start looking at colleges. She flew across the country. I was stuck, with a 6 hour delay completely out of my control. I called the hotel, and asked them to let my daughter check into the room without me. I gave them my credit card and explained the extenuating circumstances. The front desk clerk confirms my credit card, and then when my daughter gets there I find out the manager has denied the request due to "safety". She had Apple Pay but their tap reader wasn't working and without a physical credit card to insert it was "unsafe". However over at the bar next to the check in, the tap reader was working just fine. She had to sleep on the couch in the lobby like a hobo until I arrived at 10pm. They offered her water but nothing else. Can you imagine?! And there was absolutely NOTHING nearby for her to walk to and eat. I would NEVER stay here again. And I advise you to steer clear as well. So many better options to stay in Atlanta.

The Darwin is a wonderful art filled space, it’s very unique and the staff was wonderful, they were very helpful and kind. the surrounding area seemed a little on the sketchy side, with what seemed to be some abandoned buildings, some run down fast food places, & some possible homelessness but really only on one side of the hotel, on the other it was very gentrified with a trader joe’s, nice breakfast restaurants, and other shops, i guess just be weary if you’re walking!

The Darwin was a cute boutique hotel. Embedded in the heart of Atlanta neighborhood. Sketchy overflow parking. Could hear person above us walking. Overall I would stay again. Really comfortable beds and turn down service each night.

Atlanta and snow

The hotel was kind but we were isolated with a bit of cold and snow in Atlanta. I thought we were closer to a “ Happening Atlanta”… but alas Atlanta was pathetic with 1/2 an inch of snow. The hotel tried their best to entertain us. Food was soso and very slow in the morning. If with a crowd could be fun. Better weather could be fun as they had a nice outdoor space. Too far a walk ti what’s happening but U ers were easy.

Awesome Spot

Our trip was amazing this hotel really made us feel welcomed and very safe. We were nervous being in Georgia for the first time but couldn't have picked a better place to lay out heads.
