Very nice hotel-good location

Great front desk staff. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room and an ice bucket/machine nearby but otherwise all good. Nice location. We were able to walk to cruise port

The only thing that could be improved was understanding how the breakfast buffet prices were unclear. You could order barista drinks and then we find out they were included in the buffet.

Staff were excellent, polite and friendly. We asked for a quiet, cool room and got exactly that. Room was excellent value for money, very clean and tidy, comfortable bed. Husband would have liked a little more pressure in the shower but I thought it was fine and I like the eco-friendly aspects of this hotel šŸ™‚ Location is perfect, close to everything and near several bus routes. Would definitely stay here again!

New hotel with amenities

Weā€™ve been to New Zealand before but wanted to learn more about Auckland during our 15 day stay. We needed a hotel close to public transportation. This is a new hotel. We went over before booking, saw a room and talked to staff. Great people, nice room, has restaurant, gym & small deli on 1st floor. Rates were fair. Highly recommend.

I would start by staying that the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is a short walk from the Sky Tower and all amenities ~ BUT .. Despite paying in advance for the room - acknowledged on check-in.. and incurring no additional costs during our one night stay - acknowledged on departureā€¦ the credit card that I used for the security deposit hold has been charged for the room for the night. On contacting Expedia, apparently the hotel denies that they have made the charge, but they clearly have and are in no hurry to put the matter right. Expediaā€™s attitude is also a little too laid back for my liking. - I should add that the hotel is continuing to ā€œholdā€ the security deposit sum.

Tiny rooms!! Our vehicle got broken into in the ā€˜hotel carparkā€™ which is located up and across the road. For some reason only 1 person cooks any eggs, upon ordering, for the buffet, meaning there is always a big line. Clearly it doesnā€™t work.
