When you first pull up to the house you are a bit concerned of its age and slightly precarious staircase. Once inside, the charm and beautfully appointed artwork puts you at ease. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with soft sheets.
We enjoyed the location, you can walk to Zilker Park and if weather permits (not too hot/humid) you could even walk through the park to the downtown area. Lots of restaurants close by. Terry Blacks bbq was enjoyable.
It would be nice to see a few things fixed, water damaged floor in kitchen, unsure why there is black contact paper on kitchen wall, toilet paper holder/towel bars could be better secured in primary bathroom, closet doors should be repaired. Nothing that took away from enjoying the property given the age of the home.
We'd definitely stay here again!
