Really think about this place

Overall it was an okay place. Front desk people were nice and helpful. The only issue that I had was the amount of roaches and dirty sheets that I saw. The location is perfect since it's next to the capital but I don't think it's worth it if you're trying to enjoy the experience near downtown.

The bath shower leaking, mold, furniture had burnt marks, carpet stained and dirty, room had an awful smell, iron was ruined from previous use, and roaches.

I had cockroaches in my room. I was afraid for my safety, and the fesr of bring roaches home. The trim on the floorboard upon walking in had been ripped away from the wall, and had cockroaches climbing out of the hole into the room as soon as the lights went off. It was truly a terrifying experience. I spoke with the front desk, and the gentleman told me that his management would issue a full refund for the room. I was still charged for my stay, and would like the ammount refunded. I even have pictures of one of the cockroaches that got squished on the wall. We left him there to prove to the staff that there are roches in the room. The staff themselves were very nice. They had great customer service.

It's a very dirty area with lots of trash and the building is not maintained. The first room they assigned me was right next to the parking area and didn't have electricity. Luckily, the front desk gave me another room. The second room was by the elevator which made a loud banging noise. It took me the first night to realize what was causing the banging sounds. The water pressure was very high in the shower and the shower head was not adjustable, so water would soak the floor. This was the cheapest motel within walking distance of the Capitol which is where I needed to be for my work.

Please tear it down and start over

This place is ready to be torn down. My room was very dirty. I think the linens were clean but other than that, everything else was dirty and in poor repair. When I went into the parking garage I encountered a man puking. I notified the front desk AND I texted the number for LaQuinta that had been used previously to welcome me. I was assured that someone would take care of it, but 8 hours later nothing had been done. The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location, but I would never stay here again.

No one should stay here under any circumstances. Filthy. Not secure. You can hear everything through the walls. People can see into your room through the crack in the door. Pool was bright green and filthy. Did not feel safe at all and booked a new room elsewhere immediately. Pictures online are extremely misleading.

Hotel staff was absolutely lovely, props to Johnathan for being super helpful; and the issues I encountered were nowhere near their fault. Property is aged. Under construction, so it seems to be getting updated. Roaches on the property, moment you turn off the lights. Bathrooms moldy and well worn down.
