Unfortunately BlackOpal management did not provide a good experience for us. For the price we paid, we expected far more.
The property was still being painted, and there was very loud hammering and construction in the hallways right outside our unit on Friday. There is also lots of road noise that made us keep the patio doors closed most of our time there.
The fire pit was not what you would expect as it was more of a fire trough and it's location on the patio made it awkward to use.
There is a lovely view of the skyline and the roof deck was nice. There's also a large cemetery next to the unit, which we didn't mind at all but some people may dislike. There are some decent dining options within a 20 minute walk and it's only a short drive to even better spots on Manor road or on the east side.
Although it appeared to be a newer building, I cannot call it luxurious given the condition of the building, the condition of the unit and the very poor communication we received from the host.
