We were a group of 11 adults in town for a family wedding at the Deer Creek Ranch just minutes away. This home was perfect for our group. It is a bit off the beaten path but we managed to take day trips to Golden, Denver, Evergreen, and even to Cheyanne and Laramie. The grocery store was about a15 minute drive.
The LR has a wall of windows overlooking the mountains for spectacular views. Clear night skies and a telescope kept us in awe.
The gourmet kitchen was well stocked, it even had two types of coffee pots.
There were four BRs upstairs and 2 down They each had a bath. (The 2 downstairs rooms were best situated for kids/teens with a powder room to share.) There was a ping pong/pool table, exercise equipment and other games.
There was a dedicated TV room off the LR that sat about 6, so it's not perfect for watching "the big games" unless you are a smaller group. The LR had a poker table that we used to play many of the provided family games available.
The owner was quick to respond, the place was immaculate and the rates were reasonable.
The only complaints we heard was that one of the upstairs beds sagged in the middle and there were a few splinters from the porch wood. Our guess was that the home was built in the late 90's so it may be starting to show some age.
All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it for large groups.
